  Faded then apostate?

  if someone has faded so they are not known as a jw for a few years there is no need to be disfellowshiped or announced that they are no longer a jw.. so they wouldn’t need to be shunned the same way as if they did a hard exit like writing a letter or something.. so if evidence arose that such a faded person was sinning there still would be no need to announce that they were no longer a jw the same as if they were known as a jw.

  family members and members of the congregation would not shun them?.

  what would happen if such a faded person became apostate?

  multiple very serious allegations against tony and then huge efforts to remove him from all pictures and videos, have to admit it doesn’t look good.. once the pennsylvania investigation becomes public knowledge and front page news it will be very very hard for 8 million pimis.. is it possible that this could be the largest problem the branch has ever faced?

  larger than 1975, the overlapping generations or any other ‘test of faith’.

  many will feel heartbroken and betrayed.

  Sadly, it won't be the end of the cult. Still, many more are waking up, so it'll help.

  JW response: "Oh, there's bad in every organization/religion. Even Judas was bad - and Jesus chose him!"

  That's why I prefer to focus on the org's fake teachings & practices, rather than the "imperfect" JW's.

  Aftermath of being Reinstated

  i'm in the process of being reinstated ( my df'ing story is on here).

  because i've never been in this position before, i don't know how i will be treated once i'm reinstated.

  i moved to a new city/state and i don't know a single person here or in my new congregation i am attending.

  @ enoughisenough - Maybe she feels the same as a lot of people do, that they must belong to a certain sports team/religious or political group. Gives them a sense of "belonging" and being part of a social group. If you're not one of "us," you're a lesser person attitude.

  I see REDDIT has stopped people from adding comments to the TM111 post. Wonder why?
  

  I suspect people are totally ignoring the blatantly obvious: If everything this woman is claming is true, and that she has evidence and/or witnesses to back up her charges, why did she turn up alone at AM's KH, making threats & accusations - instead of local police officers doing the job?

  Also, I'm pretty sure the FBI could have gained access to Mr. Morris in recent years at HQ if the complainant had provided them with all her "grass-cutting tools."

  I hope TM111 and his cohorts get what they deserve, but this woman's tactics are not well thought out IMO - especially so if she has a "smoking gun." We'll know very soon, I feel.

  This is what happens when you reject Higher Education: you can't figure out that you would help far more by posting a cheque which includes the cash saved in fuel costs! Environmentally friendly, too.

  If the complainant's video (and others!) are not removed within the next few hours via the cult's lawyers, (acting for AM111 & his former Pharisaic colleagues) I'd suspect this story is going to be another major chapter in the org's pedophile history.
