  Why Do JW's Believe that Hell is Symbolic When the Disciples of the Apostles believed it Was Literal ?

  looks like the early christians believed jesus when he warned about hell over 40 times.

  why don't the jw's do the same?.

  What the Trinitarian perspective on John 8.28?

  this is not a verse that i’ve seen feature heavily in trinitarian debates but it seems to me it presents a problem for the trinity.

  if there are any around i’d be interested to know your perspective, or anything you can find on the meaning and how it doesn’t contradict the trinity.

  I thought the 3 trinity "entitities" were co-equal & co-eternal in power and substance! How can you heretically dismiss the basis of the trinity by introducing contradictory wordings which assert some kind of hierarchy between them?

  The Catholic Encyclopedia's summary of the trinity - "It's a mystery" - is bang on!

  It's a mystery why anyone believes such unscriptural theology, concocted by Rome.

  The JWBORG website says this in its news page:

  "....the [Norwegian] government’s attempt to deregister Jehovah’s Witnesses as a religious community in Norway."

  I don't think that's what the Norwegian government has done, do you?

  Deregistered for receiving free cash from Norwegian taxpayers - that's what's happened! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  1 Cor. 15:27,28 - He (God Almighty) has put all things in subjection under his (Jesus Christ) feet. But when it says, “all things” have been put in subjection, it is clear that the One (God Almighty) who subjected all things to him (Jesus) is not included.
  28And when all things have been put in subjection to him, (God Almighty) then the Son (Jesus Christ) will subject himself to Him (God Almighty) who put all things in subjection to him. (Jesus Christ)"

  Why could one third not be in subjection to the other third, while the other third would be?

  Sounds like one of the parts of the co-eternal, co-equal trinity is going to be downgraded in authority.

  cj chap. 3 p. 110 Chapter 3 - "Jesus Christ said: “Whoever says, ‘You despicable fool!’ (apostate) will be liable to the fiery Gehenna.” (Matt. 5:22) The person who wrongly condemned his brother as a “despicable fool,” (apostate) that is, as being morally worthless, would be in great danger of such a serious consequence. This is because he would be viewing his brother as deserving the judgment of Gehenna, or hoping that his brother would suffer that judgment. In his heart he would be desiring this for his brother and, therefore, would be putting himself in line for the punishment he wished for the one whom he was calling a “despicable fool.” (apostate)
