can anyone point me in the direction of articles to read about the “new light” about hanging out with family members who are not believers?

i left when i was 20, i was disfellowshipped for five years, went back to it for family and left again shortly after.

i never got disfellowshipped again so that i could talk to my parents.

Never once in the Ministry School (or anywhere else!) was I ever told by "the slave" that I had to offer people the hope of two future destinies.

As such, my ministry was a failure, because it was not fully accomplished: 2 Timothy 4:5 - "...do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry."

Society got it's claws on ex-jw activst in Finland

ex-jw activist jari-pekka peltoniemi got in trouble when fighting against borg in finland.. mr peltoniemi was on teams meeting and made the content public.. albeit the meeting itself is public the appeal court (peltoniemi won in district court) took the stand that it a private not public matter.

mr peltoniemi published the information first without blurring the faces of the elders but blurred them later on.

apparently it was too late.. legal fees are around 20 000 eur which are bit too much for a person living with modest pension.. it needs to be pointed out that it was mr peltoniemi who informed the finnish data ombudsman about the way jws do notes or rather "public data bank" when they do their perching activity.

Hence it is not too hard for clever propagandists to make us think their thoughts are ours. They plant the thought and nourish it, but do it so subtly that we think it is our own. The WTBTS "interpretations" of prophecy should be a wake-up call for JW's to read Deuteronomy 18:21, 22 - “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” When the ~~prophet~~ org speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The ~~prophet~~ org spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him.’"

JW's: Can you see which word you should focus on? Maybe not.

Do you honestly believe that Rutherford & Co. were the "two witnesses" back in 1919? 🤣

Watchtower November 15, 2014, p. 30 - Revelation 11:7 says that it is "the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss" which kills the 'two witnesses'.

kj chap. 11 p. 208 par. 33 - “In the spring of the year 1919 C.E. the faithful anointed remnant of Jehovah’s Christian worshipers were delivered from this Babylonish bondage.”

The wild beast that ascends out of the abyss is claimed to be the United Nations.

How could a non-existent U.N. which wasn't created until 1945, fulfill a prophecy 27 years earlier? Even the League of Nations never came into existence until 1920!

they have done this effectively with common theological terms.

the result is that even when people leave, many still think the jw's have "some truth" and that maybe its just the leadership that is the problem.

Why did it take me so many years of peacefully fading, before I was shown the org's perversion of the verse:

(Proverbs 4:18) But the path of the righteous...........grows brighter and brighter until full daylight.

The path of the righteous one gets brighter, the light (Bible) never changes to dark then light again - the way the org's dogmas do.

(Psalm 119:105) "Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path."

So satisfying to see them go against their self-appointed "slave's" orders, by associating with "apostates."
