@ diogenesister - since nursing homes have banned all of their residents from receiving visits from family & friends for some time now, it's not rocket science to figure out that the nursing home staff are infecting & killing them.

Dis/UNITED Kingdom?
by BoogerMan inengland, wales, scotland & n.i.

garden centres are opening in wales on monday, in england on wednesday, but by the looks of things, are far too dangerous to open them anytime soon in scotland or n.i.

I thought this was a national crisis. Boris only acts as Prime Minister of England. What statesmanship!

I wonder what the world war 2 generation would think about the "democracy" we have today:
Freedom of movement withdrawn, holidays banned, exercising more than once per day a criminal offence, (Wales) visiting relatives/friends illegal, businesses ruined, income/employment withdrawn, children's education suspended indefinitely, every "routine" surgical/health procedure cancelled for at least 3 months. (in U.K.)
They'd be aghast.

At the very least, fast-forward to 13 mins 15 seconds and listen for the next 3 minutes.
Anyone who objects to hearing a dissenting point of view and tries to gag it, should never attend for jury service.
The longer I live, the mantra "Follow the money" applies more & more in so many events.

Comment on BBC News web site
by BoogerMan in"i've just been told by a nurse just off shift that 6 wards were put aside for cv19 at ninewells hospital in dundee and that only one is being used.
also that the virus is being put as cause of death on almost every death...including one male patient who died of cancer who tested positive but had no effects.
so bear that in mind, and this is genuinely what i've been told what is going on.".

What is REALLY going on in hospitals? People have had necessary surgical procedures cancelled due the virus.

What do you make of this recent article regarding the United Nations stance towards overriding religions of the world on certain matters?
by devout_no_more infirst of all, this is my first post here on the forums even though i have been registered now for some time.
i have been faded from the jehovah's witness religion for many years now, but only recently within the past year or so gotten quite serious about it - crisis of conscience by ramond franz really kicked things off for me personally.. anyway, my wife, parents, step-sister and her husband and my half-brother are all still active jw's, so i am still exposed to them, and this is also the reason why i'm still "faded".
frankly i'd probably just as soon disassociate myself without the threat of being shunned.

Welcome DNM.
Never mind the U.N., I can see economically starved governments (after Covid 19 has subsided) looking at tax-free religions and deciding that since all of society is having to bear their share of the financial burdens incurred, religions should too! It would only be fair, and most people wouldnt disagree I think.

What Do You Think Of Fining People For Not Wearing A Mask?
by minimus insome towns in massachusetts are fining people 1000 dollars for not wearing a mask 😷 outdoors.
starting wednesday, the governor mandates everyone from 2 years of age up, must wear a mask or get a 300 dollar fine!.
of course some governors are recommending that you rat out anyone that doesn’t follow their orders.. i don’t like it!👎🏿.

Get used to wearing masks, because when the 'flu season kicks off every year, it'll become Standard Operating Practice! The thousands who die from 'flu every year (despite having the 'flu vaccine) will have to be protected from all of us.
Don't go out of your house, don't go to school, don't go to work, don't visit elderly relatives at home or in hospital - the bogey-man will get you!
Why force quarrantine/house-arrest on millions of HEALTHY people? It has no scientific or medical justification - and is resulting in people's immune systems weakening/worsening.
Too many people are hoarding sand right now - so that they can bury their heads in it when reality hits.

BREXIT - Will it now be "delayed?"
by BoogerMan ini'm wondering if the brexit pandemonium is going to continue due to the covid 19 pandemonium.. the latter may just neccessitate further "emergency laws" which suspend the december 31st 2020 divorce date..

Will the UK's subjection to USA rules and laws via the WTO be that much better than the E.U.'s?
We'll find out soon enough.

@ mikronboy: post-Iraq war, post MP's expenses scandal, & post-Covid 19, the UK government now knows it can get away with anything. The UK electorate has shown that it will believe whatever government/MSM tells them.
The last thing the government will worry about is infuriating them. They couldn't care less.
