"The Watchtower stated: "Evidently the new covenant is nearing the end of its operation for the purpose of producing 144,000 spiritual Israelites....When the last of these approved spiritual Israelites cease to be ‘men’ because of earthly death and a resurrection to a share in the heavenly kingdom, then the mediatorship of Jesus Christ will cease also. Note that The Watchtower did not say that the benefits of this new covenant would cease. Those who live on earth will benefit in an everlasting way from the fact that this new covenant fulfilled its purpose in producing 144,000 spiritual sons of God who will reign as joint heirs with Christ in the heavens."

Moving on in a new chapter

moving on is the hardest thing anyone has to cope with.. i have officially left the org.

and now it feels my family have been waiting to do this for a long time, officially shunning me, even though they were practically doing this whilst i was still in.. it feels like i've accomplished a victory and at the same time i feel guilty i was tangled up in communication with someone who "hid who they were" claiming to leak information from bethel.

i got the call from the man who i thought i worked with.

In other words, the "Society's" radical metamorphosis and "new understandings" are going to continue, until the powers-that-be are satisfied with the updated, 21st century business plan.

Nowhere in the scripture does it say "new" scrolls.

Nowhere in the scripture does it say that the scrolls contain "new teachings" or "detailed requirements" - they contain judgements.

Nowhere in the scripture does it say the scrolls are opened during the millennium. Verses 1-10 show that the scrolls are opened after Satan is destroyed.

Trickle or flood?

now that some reasonably big changes have occurred in a short time frame, whats next?

will the gb let the dust settle for a bit, or will they keep dropping bombs this year?.

"Word on the streets" seem to indicate that the org's chariot is speeding up and will issue more "adjustments" in 2024. If so, the Guardians Of Doctrine (GODS) will almost certainly not do so until the Annual Meeting in October.

I suspect (and hope!) that many KH's are going to experience either silent or vocal dissensions & fall-outs, resulting in serious schisms.

It's a common occurrence these days for families & close friendships to end when opposite views are expressed, e.g. Brexit, Scottish independence, plandemics & experimental jabs, so I'd expect the JW-world to follow suit.
