i'm 20 and have been studying since i was 14 (not a publisher) but i honestly didnt really look into the witnesses or analyze what they said.
all i wanted was to learn more of the bible lol, but recent events have made me notice how pushy they can be.

i think it's hard to share with new people in life,being raised a witness.
i never know when and if to bring it up.
now,just acquaintances,i don't usually talk about it.. but,with people,especially someone i may consider being in a relationship with,it's difficult to know the right time.
Emptyinside: It's always better to be honest up front in any relationship that you want to proceed with. When I was dating my second wife who is a baptist I told her I had something to tell her and she looked at me like OH GOD WHAT IS HE GOING TO SAY, so I said I'm an inactive and fading J.W. and she said is that it, I said yes, and she laughed and said that's not a problem. I was relieved because she is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
J-dubs think that you have to marry someone in your religion to be happy, but that is NOT the key to a happy marriage, you have to have more in common, likes and dislikes, recreation, money matters, education. I've learned that when it comes to money it's not YOUR money or MY money but it's OUR MONEY and you discuss everything. That's how it works folks!!
Be happy and don't let anyone or any CULT get in your way from attaining it.

i live in a majority-minority neighborhood, so i get the double witness whammy of my street being worked by both spanish- and english-speaking congregations.
jws come to my door about four times a year, but i stopped answering years ago.
what's interesting is that about two years ago, they stopped knocking on my door or ringing the doorbell.

helo.straight from the start i am a christian begotten of the father jehovah gods holy spirit.can i take the time to extend christian greetings to all.i know that i along with all of the offspring of adam have inherited original sin.that without faith in the antilutron ( in this age) i can not approach the mercy seat, holy throne of jehovah god the almighty.so many christian faiths.all use the bible.all quote from it.all pray to the same god.all fallible humans convinced that their method/way/faith is right.the only way to please the father and his beloved son.some cling to a teaching/teacher.some cling to a tradition.all accept a particular mindset.

hello, i am (almost) new here, and in the beginning i didn't really think that i would ever post something here.
but then.... yesterday i had a little experience, nothing important , people who haven't been in the organisation have probably a hard time to understand why it's even worth talking (writing) about.
but i though if there are people who can relate to it, they are here, and if not this post will just disappear in the internet and no harm was done.. i was walking my friends' dogs in the evening sun, not thinking about anything.
