I used to fear Armageddon, but now I know it's a tool of brainwashing used by the witnesses. My life is a lot more satisfying and I do a lot of research.

JWs Could Learn A Lot from the First Baptist Church
by jamiebowers inthe other day i found a red plastic bag hanging on the knob of our exterior door.
it contained a calendar with beautiful landscape scenes and scriptures for every month of the year.
i'm not a bible believer, but i hung up the calendar because of the pretty pictures.

So, I had a thought about wicked spirits lately...
by sd-7 inthe whole reason i even got dragged into this jw stuff, and we didn't just become somebody's return visit they never came back on, is because my mom claimed that the demons were talking to her.
they told her that the jws knew the truth about them, so she called the local kingdom hall.
bible study was started, and that was that.

You guys are funny! I've had experiences with them shaking tables and sitting in a rocking chair and rocking, and even seen them walking towards me, but never smelled one unless he forgot to take a demon bath. They mess with people to scare them back into the Borg for false protection.
Its Satans organization that's why they push you back in. After I started fading and found out the TATT by doing research and reading Ray Franz books, no more incidence. The gig is up.

Well, God's will must have been that I suffer for 29 years of marriage because he never answered any of my prayers to help me end that travesty.

What was the worst thing an "elder" ever did to you ?
by Pitchess Co-Gen inthe worst thing an "elder" ever did to me was in 2008. i was in one congregation, but i wanted to return to my home congregation because i've been reproved there twice ( once private and the last one public ).
when i came into this congregation in 2007 i thought i was going to move up the food chain ( this congregation was full of older people, so i thought i would move up faster ).
but i got into some trouble in the congregation.

In my old hall years ago, I had finished the Bible reading I was assigned on a Thursday night, and walked back to the sound booth where I was in charge of. The theocratic ministry school overseer started counseling me on my bible reading and, he noticed I was'nt looking at him while receiving my counsel.
So he said over the platform " kojack pay attention to me when I give you councel " that elder was the biggest ass I ever knew.
