that's what i think of when i read the title for this years jw covention.. after all it is run by dinosaurs who belong back in the good old days of ignorance where gods made it rain, and were labeled as the cause for all natural disasters(pre-science and supperstitious).

so behind the times they forbid & demonize education to its members, classifying it as a decption of the devil.. they see devils and demon everywhere a phobia they pass on to the ill informed instructing its members to throw their childrens toys in the garbage because jehovah the corporation sock puppet might get sad and wind up on a killing spree over it.. telling the deaf among them in sign language (video availible on the internet as a download using suggestive language) not to masterbait as a form of enjoyment or release of sexual tension.

in other words control freaks who haven't a clue of how stupid they are.. yes these are the guys that are claiming the bible and their narrow minded and childish interpetation of it is the "truth" which could be changed on a whim..

i once attended a two day special assembly with my gums bleeding after having 4 widom teeth pulled the day before.

i managed the two days by rinsing out my mouth all day long and placing cotton in my mouth.. one brother had back surgery the week before but attended a two day assembly by laying on a matress in the back of the assembly hall.

why he needed to be there i'll never understand!.

i remember being in high school hoping i would make it to see graduation sometimes even praying for it as i could feel the end was near.

but i graduated leaving behind prospects for school because i knew i needed to work hard in service to prove i deserved the real life.

i heard a talk at a convention that nearly guaranteed this system would be wrapping up soon and it scalded my mind with assurance that i was not sacrificing for anything.. i remember in the keynote address the speaker said we would only be back for another convention if god wanted.

Bobflanagan007: Google "The watchtower and Johannes greber" there is all kinds of info on their relationship. Johannes greber was a roman catholic priest and the watchtower used his translation to support the NWT and he wrote that he got his information from demons.

And no it's not a JOKE it's the real deal.
