  well hello everyone.. after some thought, i realized that i've created a middle world for myself, that is neither jw, nor included in the other 99% of the population.

  in fact, living here in jwn is like a cong sometimes.

  the rumours, the gossip, the clicks, it's all here, if that's what u want.. what's happened to me is that i'm almost in a jw state of mind with the small group mentality.

  Avatar: I whole heartedly agree. If I were an elder right now I would be sh**ing my pants. Now is the time to exit this horrible SATANIC CULT. if they think this is Gods organization they are demented. Child abusers and their protectors who hide them have no sympathy from me or other people who love justice.

  The perfect storm...time to exit the JW's

  is this the perfect time to tell family that are still in that you are so upset/devastated/embarassed over the candace conti revelations and trial and what happened to her as a 9 year old witness that you need to step away from field service and the meetings and do a lot of private praying.

  you've been stumbled badly and don't know what to think at this time.

  I will say this, the case where the Monsignor was found guilty of hiding and shuffling priest around to different parishes was found guilty of that, and now can face 3-1/2 to 7 years in prison. In fact his bail was refused and he is sitting in a cell now.

  If I was one of those elders in California I would be sweating bricks knowing that the court system may throw their sorry asses in jail for hiding Pediophiles in the supposedly Christian congregation.

  It would behoove any elder that is active as a Jehovah's witness to get the HELL out now. Otherwise when the hammer comes down the G.B. will not show any sympathy and you will deserve what you get.

  Cognitive Dissonance Can Be A Good Thing!

  many of us have been disheartened by all the comments about the candace conti case from apologists that indicate cognitive dissonance at work.

  some of them even seem to show a shocking lack of empathy.. this might be seen as evidence that even the most shocking revelations will have little or no effect on faithful witnesses.. i disagree.

  i think this case is having a profound effect.. i think many witnesses have been under the impression that this kind of judgement is impossible.

  Cedars: That was an outstanding video, well done brother. Thank you Cantleave, nugget, and John Hoyle for your work on this video. That is very moving if I may say so. If anyone in the WTB&TS observe this video and it doesn't move them to effect a change in their policies, they are heartless and deserve every bit of punishment from the superior authorities.

  my mom told me this as it was related to her.. a witness is suddenly carjacked!

  the man tells the sister he is there to steal her car!

  she begs him not to take the car as it is the one she uses to take her elderly mom to the doctors.

  this really means a lot to her.
