  SPIMI Friend Asked Me For The Name Of My (FORMER) Congregation

  a present-spimi friend texted me to ask me the name of my congregation--which is my former and last one that i left right after becoming completely/presently pomo.

  she was a longtime buddy, who was pimq-pimo-ppimi-on-occasion for many decades.

  then shortly before the pandemic, she was dating a brother who was reaching out to become an ms [mind you, this guy was a mic-handler for several decades as well--until an older brother (who was a close friend of his uncle--who converted him into the cultporation years ago--encouraged him to the point of harrassing him to move up the wt corporate ladder🙄😤].

  Notformer- I left Da Truth when I was 18, but out for years. These two knuckle heads are convinced that somehow I will take interest in the "Truth ". They show up just about every 3rd month. So, I'll play nice for my personal entertainment. I was in my office at home and my wife let them in. Let the mind games begin. I hold them here while others are getting relief from their stupidity.

  Caution there! JW'S are known to spy and collect data on you if you are not towing the party line. Real North Korea Shit. I have been out for years and have two young elders trying their hardest to be all buddy buddy with me to get me back in the Borg. One morning they paid me a visit while I was cleaning my hand guns. They got in the Bible about my handgun ownership. They know I served in a conflict. I asked them if their Bible will save them from a Islamic Taliban with a weapon?

  as somebody who worked full-time when i was in the witness religion, this topic naturally caught my eye.. many of the responses are heartfelt.

  there are about 90 at this point.

  from what i read so far.. many are people who woke up before they got old but even these are resentful over their life being derailed with wasted time pursuing spiritual goals and having to start over at a later age getting an education/job.. i imagine born-in young jws would be most susceptible to this.. in today’s world, a ‘career’ is something that earns you a living.. as many of the responses there will say: anybody who pursues ‘spiritual goals’ only will end up with wasted time in the end with no money and no retirement plan… i couldn’t agree more.. it would be a shame if this happens to yet more jws..

  LHG- I Graduated from High School and worked some unskilled jobs and Pioneered. Came to the realization that this does not work and practical. So, I enrolled in a few local community College courses. The elders went ballistic. I was forced to move out of my parents home. I enlisted into military service. I stayed in it and left as decorated Officer. Now, there is two Bozo Elders that want to be all buddy buddy because I have the house, the vehicles the business and my life together and they want a piece of that.

  Predictions for the next decade?

  as it’s nearly the new year my prediction over the next decade or so will see the sense of urgency dwindle.

  then some huge huge changes.

  for example by 2034 in a decades time, they will have address the 1914 issue and will come out and say we can’t be dogmatic.

  I predict all Kingdumb Hall will be sold off in a power move by Watchtower. Watchtower will have weekend meet up events at their remaining assembly halls and charge ridiculously for it. Will be a tv religion.

  i just read this.

  don’t know if anybody here has seen the video.. the intended result of this is to obviously scare ‘faders’ out of the shadows.

  now, they are being threatened with loss of association with their loved ones and friends.

  What I here from my brother who is a pimo, there is networks of pimo groups within the congregation that just go through the motion but basically say screw you borg you got us stuck here we are going to do what we want.

  Did Anyone Have Fun With Their Field Service Reports?

  now that there is new light on reporting hours in field service, it's raised a few questions for me, who was never in the jws.

  did any of you ever have fun with the field service report slips, by finding creative ways of reporting time without raising suspicions in those who oversaw the collection of those slips?.

  also, can anyone upload an image of what the slips looked like, or point me to a post that gives uploaded examples of the sort of paperwork that was familiar to jws in good standing?.

  Education video this midweeks meeting

  there is an item this week all about yang ones leaving school.. the two brothers go to a career advisor seminar.

  one brother thinks it’s good to work hard full time while you are young and tries to encourage his friend to as well.. his friend (who is the good jw trust the gb no matter what they say)) he wants a part time job.. the video shows him dreaming about investing his money on his phone and the chart goes up, he drives a nice car and seems to be doing well financially.. then he reads the scripture in proverbs and next you see that investment chart go down in the red and he is so pleased he just got a low paid part time job.. this infuriates me.

  how many of us are now struggling because we were told to get menial part time jobs and we were told the end would have been here by now.. i will never tell a young person to listen to the gb advice on this.

  As well noted- many of the young people have walked out due to the Borg 's nonsense. I would suspect that the remaining are held hostage by family or other reasons. But by and large the Kingdumb Hall is all made up the super righteous and the stuck Pimo's.

  1/2 of the Jehovah’s witnesses have gone

  there are 1/2 of the jehovah’s witnesses that there were 30 years ago in my area.

  some have left but i think that many have died and none of their kids stayed being jehovah’s witnesses.

  7 congregations have been dissolved over the years.

  Change in WT Stance on Retirement? A qualified answer?

  i was reading the march 2025 wt today, and i notice this: "march 2025 p. 29 jehovah’s hand is not too short p.29-31 (retirement, but qualified statement) (notice , it is not wrong, but, in the end we must rely on their god.

  retirement is alluded to as "making the quest for material things the focus of our life.

  " are we confident that their god will provide (why have retirement then?

  I got this one elder and his elder friend who just creep me out everytime they come to my door to encourage me to return to the borg. This morning I was out washing my car in the driveway and here comes these two bozos. They tell me how much the borg is growing and all the changes. I'm just working away on my car. The see my cars, my house, my job, and commission, retirement. I can see the dollar signs in their eyes.

  final thoughts after 15 hours of the 2025 assembly.

  after dedicating 15 hours to the 2025 assembly, i walked away with a heavy sense of spiritual emptiness.

  the only part that managed to stir anything within me was a single video on day one titled “what does jesus see in you?”—a piece with sentimental appeal, but still surface-level at best.. .
