  the july 15, 2015 study watchtower article entitled "your deliverance is getting near", along with the jw broadcasting video entitled "gerrit losch: fortified by "the prophetic word," and chapter 21 of the god's kingdom rules!

  book presented a large amount of new light or clarified understanding of the events of the great tribulation.. here i am presenting it in chronological order -- this is the governing body's updated chronological order of events for the time right before the great tribulation through armageddon:.

  the final sealing of the anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the tribulation.

  Pew research study on religion

  this is a really interesting study on religion that includes some info on witnesses.

  it's interesting that dubs have the highest percentage of non white members (64%).

  also interesting that there are twice the number of mormons than witnesses.

  12% increase in non-white members in 7 years. So then who is the message appealing to? Mostly third world countries with no internet access. (insert non racist disclaimer here)

  tonight gorby and his wife watched a part of the 2015 may edition of jw broadcasting.

  we couldn't force our self to watch the full stuff, because of it's sneaky way of production.

  first of course the dynasty melody at the start, the world map background and the car salesman mr. lett.

  I especially enjoyed the vague threat about nine minutes in. First he tells about someone who could attend the KH for 20 years and not contribute a cent and no one would know.........Except Jehovah, and he is really vengeful toward freeloaders. So pony up or die!

  i'm sure some kind of arrangement was made, some of the uber dubs in a panic as to what they would do if the couldn't get to their meeting tonight.

  probably bumped it up a few hours so they wouldn't be out at night for those that live in the middle of what's going on..

  Are those that attend the conventions really that untraveled and rude?

  Is it really necessary to remind the same people year after year to not act sophomorically?

  It's a waste of time to attend and a further waste to watch these "reminders."

  Hello? If you're going to become a firefighter you are going to HAVE to march in parades and participate in flag raising ceremonies. No wonder he's being harassed. If a church or gay bar is on fire is he going to stand down?

  if you have time to read, this is an interesting article talking about watchtowers property in ulster and orange county ny and how much the properties are worth.

  it also goes on to show how the tax exempt stays is hurting the communities..

  I remember the first time I encountered this issue going door to door. A rather irate householder pointed out that the WT donated a fire truck to the town of Patterson in exchange for it's tax exemption. BFD. The fire truck cost a couple of hundred thousand. The property taxes would and should have been in the millions after 35 or so years.

  This in a state where middle class families routinely spend ten to fifteen thousand a year in school taxes alone.

  If the UN doesn't seek to destroy religion, the annoyed taxpayers of NY State just might.

  i wish i knew what it was like to have an unconditionally loving mother.

  i know she loves me and cares about me, but only within her narrow wt spectrum.

  if i do not meet her narrow expectations, i am a failure to her.

  It's a bad sign when your mother writes you and quotes scripture. Lots of people here, self included, are feeling your pain. My parents have passed without knowing I'm an unbeliever. My wife's mother is still guilt tripping her.

  Mom in law wrote to dear wifey how sad she'll be in the "new order" when her daughter is not around. It's easy to write in euphemism's. What she really meant to say is that she'll be gloating about how she was "right" and her daughter was "wrong."

  To put it even more plainly, the god of love that she worships will have killed a loving and devoted daughter, mom, wife and sister in order to prove he is righteous, and to avoid contaminating all the true believers left on earth after armageddon.

  That this belief system is beyond disgusting goes without saying. While I'm sincerely sorry for your loss, you are forever releasing your children from such sick and destructive thinking. Take some comfort in that thought.
