What makes you think the report will ever see the light of day? No doubt the altruistic sense of justice of the hand-picked AG?

by mikeflood informer fbi deputy director mccabe confirms: there were discussions within the department of justice about invoking 25 th amendment to remove trump from office.... .
i mean the us democracy isn't a third world country, a least the people involved should be reprimanded, they acted like trying a coup d'etat..

Betheliesalot: "I remember when Bush was president all his opponents wanted to do was impeach him." This is misleading.
There was only one vague attempt at impeachment at the end of W's presidency that went absolutely nowhere.
I'm definitely a blue state liberal and I look back with fondness at W's term in office compared with the disaster that is Mr. T.

Okay, I usually try to avoid this type of click bait. But here goes.
In 1961 America faced a mortal threat; calls for a national health insurance program known as MEDICARE. Today Republicans routinely accuse Dems of planning to cut the programs funding.
But the political strategy- claiming that any attempt to strengthen the social safety net will put us on the slippery slope to totalitariansim still lives on.
Medicare didn't destroy freedom. Scaremongering over socialism is both silly and dishonest. But it is politically effective. Which is why the OP is asking the question in the first place.
Still, voters overwhelming support the policies of American socialists. Including medicare for everyone and higher taxes on the wealthy. Which is why Trump in his state of the union message forgo the usual fearmongering about scary brown people and started warning about "socialism." As if Leon Trotsky were knocking at our door. Believe me, the commies are not coming to confiscate your pick-up trucks.

I agree with nowwhat? I don't feel at all sorry for people who've lived their whole lives looking down their collective noses at others that they perceive are "less than." Working for a corporation that advocates for the mass murder of billions, then being turned out penniless? Good.
I'm not bitter, just being real.

Armageddon has started in Astoria, Queens
by ShirleyW innow we know that the con ed plant in astoria, queens had an explosion, but before anyone knew what the heck was going on, so many people were posting on social media their pictures of the "strange blue circle light" that was in the sky this evening, usually st. johns which is near me has a fireworks display after a game, i thought this doesn't look like fireworks, much brighter and no sound, it actually looked like it was 4pm in the afternoon right before the sun leaves the sky.. i live in the jamaica section of queens (just up from trump's foot dr. if you saw that article in nytimes.
com the other day) and haven't lost power but laguardia is dark now, no flights in are out.
just wondering how the old school dubs that saw the lights outside window, thought "finally, the big a is here" !.

My morning routine is watching Ken Rosado et al on ABC7. The daily parade of weird shit that goes on in the city everyday is enough to make you think the world has ended.
When I travel to smaller markets and turn on the morning news, it's folks wishing Happy Birthday to their tykes and the occasional traffic accident.
In the meantime, I'm not holding my breath for the Big A.

For those Genuinely Concerned about Press Freedom
by Simon inour illustrious leader, justin trudeau, has just announced a half a $billion fund that will be given out to "trustworthy" news sources.. of course this will have nothing todo with the fact that there will be a federal election next year and there are plenty of bad things to highlight in the liberals record.
they will obviously dole the money out in a totally impartial manner, even handing funding to reporters that are critical of them and trudeau.
"trustworthy" news sources won't just be a euphemism for "writes positive stories about me, avoids negative ones".

There is nothing keeping Trudeaus critics, such as yourself, from speaking out in any forum or public media. Much ado about nothing.

Kinda strange that someone frequents a message board that is meant for observation and experience and demands "proof" for any statement of said observation.
In answer to your OP, although there are carts in many places, in NYC I have not seen a group going door to door in many years. That's just my personal observation. If you want proof of residency, well too bad.
I haven't stepped inside a KH in ten years, so I can't comment on attendance. I do see quite a few cars in the parking lot on Sunday. Although the local hall has 3 congo's and many of the cars may be there all day.
I do think that it's fair to say that the wits are on the decline and have been for awhile.
