  i saw a brilliant c4 programme on uk tv tonight "the day that changed the world?".

  it gave opinions on developments since september 11th(alas there is no page to link to).

  whether you have seen it or not: any views on this?

  Where's the Worldly Witness

  a few months back there was a very busy poster called ww (worldly witness).

  i was thinking about his rise and fall today, and this is where it took me.. whether jehovah's witnesses as individuals are 'part of the world' or not, the billion-dollar corporations which administer jw activity, receive their donations, their devotion, and their unquestioning obedience, cannot easily be described as "no part of the world".

  and as for day-to-day jw culture, many of us who have spent a few years on the 'inside' know that many things there change roughly in line with society at large - 'the world'.

  Anybody else had visions?

  when i was separating from my wife and leaving the jws, i had some visions.

  for some strange reason, i decided not to eat for a day, then when i found my thinking clearer and my emotions mellower, i fasted for another two days.

  so after the third day, i was walking down our street and i saw the houses burning after me, i felt this was an affirmation that marriage was decay and destruction, or wasteage.

  Innocent Blood - comment

  "six things that jehovah hates, yes seven... hands that are shedding innocent blood.

  jehovah made this rule, but seems never to have kept it.

  babies killed at the flood were innocent but god killed them, the firstborn sons of egypt were innocent but he killed them, jesus was innocent, but god required his death too.
