The Dead Sea Scrolls The Essenes and their Latrines

i recall and i am sure some of you will recall, being told by the wbts about how jehovah gave the jewish nation a strict set of rules as to how and where to build latrines for them to use and how this lent to giving the jewish people the reputation of being a cleaner group than the other nomads in the area.. they were to dig trenches to a strict depth and distance from the camp sites and cover the trenches as they filled and how pleasing it was to see that jehovah made them safe from sickness etc.. in todays paper an article from the los angeles times by thomas h. maugh, this very item is brought to light.

with a verry different direction as to its effects on the lives of those who lived in the manner they were told to.. "toilet practices support theory that the dead sea scrolls were written by by a small jewish sect known as the essenes" .

archeologists have discovered the latrines used by the essenes.

i took this opportunity take a copy of the calif. court case and attached a copy of the silent lambs response to the wbts pamphlet, to our small local news paper.. the guy there was really interested in what i told him.. although i have some doubts that he will print any of this in his paper.. however i am sure that he has connections to several people through the useof his paper in .

advertisements etc.

he mentioned fyi "for your information" as he read a part of it.. if it only gets to this guy and it is talked about with another, i am satisfied.. outoftheorg.

The cancer has changed my wife

we found out that she has pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver and blood vessels.

she opted for chemo.

although we have good insurance, we still have to pay quite a bit towards the $17000.00 bill every three weeks for treatment.

i just received an e mail from pbs that refers to my e mail to them regarding the up coming display of .

knocking.

the program we feel is to promote the wbts.. in their e mail they state that this program has not been submitted to them or reviewed by pbs.. any one here receive responses like this from pbs??.

I was shunned today in the post office.

well this poor jw walked to the table to sort out the throw aways just as i headed there also.. i saw him and smiled, then he dropped his head to not look at me.

we both sorted out the things for the trash bin and were only about 20 or so inches apart.. i remember him coming to my house when my daughters were young girls and he wanted to get aquainted.. maybe i should have spoken to him but i just looked at him and he refused to even look back.. how sad.

he always has this really sad disappointed look on his face.

this evening i received an e/mail from pbs thanking me for the information.

they said they will forward my e/mail to the group that analyze programs sent to them for posting.. so at least a few people in this organization will get to learn the true conduct of this cult.. outoftheorg

i had mentioned that i was raised in a jw family and we got to talking.. quite an interesting exchange of information.

when i brought up the pedophile problem in the jw's and the lack of action to make changes to protect the children, he told me that the pentacostal religious leaders required that each church and the preacher in charge had to have insurance and how expensive it was.. also that the insurance companies required certain things be changed and followed.

all the rooms that would be used for or by children had to have glass doors.

UPDATE ON DONNA'S HEALTH

today we got a phone call from the "cancer treatment centers of america".. donna's niece left our phone number with them.

they offered among other things to fly donna and me to the seattle area and back home, free of charge to check out what they have to offer.. that started the the "if it sounds like its too good to be true" bells to begin to ring.. i did a search on google and found they had been brought to court by the feds for false advertising and paid a fine.. it is a privately owned, for profit corporation.. has anyone on this forum had experience with them?

or have any knowledge of this outfit??.

Well today is the day

today at 3 pm i will take donna to the hospital for her examination.she is putting up a good front but i can tell that she is really scared about the possible outcome.. being a nurse for years, one gathers up a lot of knowledge and she does know a lot about the body and its failures.. she is scared and i am terrified.

her three sons and family will be there also.

so i won't be alone.. my few children in this area are still jw's and do not give a crap about me or donna being ill.. so they won't be there.

i have never heard of this before, but i think it is worth knowing.. i have come across a rather strange story.

yes it is legitimate and some details are left out to protect this persons identity.. this lady is having problems in her feet and hands.

the doctors find that gangrene is setting in.. it is decided that the legs up to the knees must be removed to stop the spread of septic infection.. the fingers are also to be removed because the infections are starting in the extremities.. it is discovered that a tampon has been left in the vagina for a long time.
