I know two brothers (same parents) who live at home. One is 55 the other is 46. They both lived elsewhere for 6-9 months but moved back in and stayed ever since. There is another guy who married and his family live in the upstairs of the house while his parents live downstairs.

My Mom lived on the outer edge of the territory so she as always getting "pop-in" visits for the restroom or a little time after coffee break. She was a study for many years and loved to talk so she could be counted on for a half hour-hour of time. One day at home, someone was making toast and left the toaster unattended. The darn thing caught fire and my mom opened the door and threw it out burnt toast and all. She screamed and swore at us then stopped abruptly. A car group pulled up and a local elder and ms came to the door. My brother and I were laughing hysterically as my mother talked to them on the front porch. They all ignored the scorched toast and the smoking toaster littering the front yard.
They didn't stop by for a while. The next time they did my Dad was complaining that he didn't want anymore crockpot meals. My Mom (who can't really cook, but tries) took offense. She swore at my Dad and threw the crockpot full of roastbeef and potatoes out the front door. She nearly hit another elder and his wife who stopped by while out in service. They just stepped over the mess and spent 15 minutes talking about the fruit of the spirit.

what is the earliest age you heard someone get Baptised?
by enigma1863 ini was curious what is the youngest age any jw has been baptised.
i thought it was hypocritical for jws to say wait for marriage because its such a big deal but "why wait to get baptised".
i think my step sister was 11 years old.

I knew a 9 year old girl who got baptized. At 17 she got DF'd for going to prom and sleeping with her boyfriend. She got reinstated a a few years later, married and is now a mother and elder's wife.

I did crazy stuff like get a Master's degree. I had conversations with non-witnesses. I watched R and X rated movies. I moved in with my boyfriend. I replaced all my dress skirts with pants. All in all nothing too brazen.

One experience in our old Kingdom Hall that still HAUNTS me
by Newly Enlightened inthe following is a true experience and my daughter gojira101 will verify that it happened to her.
an experience from our family's past that still haunts me and started my questioning whether this is the true organization of god or not.. my daughter, who has always been a good kid, never gave us any problems [she's an adult now] started regular pioneering.
within a few weeks of her starting, she fell on a steep hill and tore open her knee and had to have several stitches.

I feel for your daughter. I was hounded to auxiliary pioneer but I always refused. Those pioneer women were the most jealous, egotistical and hypocritical women I've ever met. One MS who was a kind and loving person had sto stop pioneering to work more and the women and elders berated him for storing up treasures on earth. He told them all to stuff it and if they wanted to pay his rent and living expenses he'd gladly go back on the list. Unfortunately he stayed in the cult. I'm so happy that you and your daughter are free.
