I was just thinking about all the pettiness we were told not to do.

2. Can't say Lucky (I've been corrected on many coassions to say fortunate)
3. I was scolded for buying girls scout cookies.
4. I think I read something about the dangers of Yoga!
5. I even saw something about toasting.

so, so much has happened in my life over the years and continues to happen, but i won't go into the details as it would take a long time.. i don't really know why, but i returned to "the truth" 15 years ago.
in 2012 when the tv broadcasting station launched, i started to develop doubts.
the australian royal commission and other scandals made me angrier, and i now don't believe most of the core teachings.. the only reason i show up at 5 or 6 meetings each month is to keep in contact with my parents and a few other family members.. but it's killing me, literally.
I understand your struggle! I've been I torment for years! The reason why I don't go back is because JW's lack humility! When you sit back and judge other religions the impression is given that JW's doesn't have any issues and it makes me sick to the core. Just know you're nothing t the only one. Stay strong man.
for the past six months the coordinator's wife has definitely been avoiding me, turning her back or walking away when i walk in her direction, giving me a stare at other times.
if i try to make casual conversation with her, she literally walks away or just looks through me until someone else comes to talk to her.. i can only think of one reason, which is that she may have seen me give a car ride to a disfellowshipped person months ago.
i mean, it would be totally random if she happened to spot me on this one short journey, but it's possible.
Sorry to hear that. Remember the 2 witnesses rule and she doesn't know even know the circumstances behind the ride, your car could have broken down and the person could be assisting you in your time of need.

I need some help because maybe I'm a little slow. I don't see what this has to do with her turning into a pillar of salt. Also would this be considered a type vs anti-example? Just wanted to chime in because I thought I was delusional. First let's the start with singing and clapping during the songs. I remember asking these questions when I was younger and I got this answer from MANY individuals
1. We have to be careful of music because even tho the beat and rhythm is nice we must consider the origin! Foundation is very important and we're not like the other religions of the world.
2. Jehovah is an organized God. Its inappropriate and shows disrespect to the most high. Younger me says yeah that does make sense! Hypocrites I tell you!
