This will sound awful, but about 20 years ago, we lived in a flat with a stair. It was basically fashioned the same way as a house.
Of course the toilet was upstairs. I enjoyed a six pack at weekends. Most of the time I would climb the stairs to go to the toilet, but there were times when I was watching a decent film and couldn't be bothered climbing the stairs, so I just slashed in the kitchen sink. The good lady was none the wiser lying up in her bed.
I only did that several times I might add and always ran the tap for hygiene purposes of course. It wasn't my routine if you are deeply worried.
I now live in a flat and the toilet is conveniently near thank goodness. This thread has had me in stiches. How low can you sink lol 😂😂😂

If memory serves, this shot of the GB was taken before the death of the guy who sat in the "gap", and was later photo shopped because he had popped off, his image was taken out, Stalin style ???
Am I right ????
That's interesting, I wonder if anyone has the original picture if the case? Would look rather strange.

I was raised Catholic and where I grew up, people around me were generally very superstitious. Even to this day, I would feel afraid using a ouije board.

Do you find it therapeutic coming to this site?
by UnshackleTheChains ini read on another thread how this site has helped another user and that for them it has been a form of therapy.. for me yes, jwn has most certainly been a form of therapy.. i recall the days i first came to jwn (in 2004) and couldn't believe i had found people who were of the same opinion as myself in regards to the society.
it was this site that led me to reading ray franz's book 'crisis of conscience' which i read twice within a week.
it also led me to jw facts that goes into every nook and cranny regarding the society's teachings, policies and history.. note: i also visit many other sites and watch you tube videos a lot, but gravitate here most of the time.. coming here to express my inner most thoughts and feelings has helped me no end and allows me to overcome my frustrations.

Has anybody read Captives Of A Concept? It's another JW expose. I read it one sitting last night. If you ever needed 100% proof of their beliefs being false using only their literature you have to read it.
Hey Pale emporer. I had this book mailed to me several years ago (still have it). My born in Mrs gave me a right bolloking over getting such 'apostate' literature. Great book btw. Very effective.
I now download many books on my tablet which saves hassle with her ladyship 😉 .
A book I really enjoyed a couple of years back was 'escape from paradise', about the experience of a Bethelite.
Thanks for everyone's comments.
