Flat earth vs round earth

The flat earth conspiracy is quite a fascinating subject. It's very much how deep the rabbit hole goes when it comes to researching this subject.

i just saw the video below and thought 'no way' !!!.

but then given the obsessive amount of rules they have, it wouldn't surprise me in the least that this was at least considered.

if there is some credibility to this, then they most certainly have gone beyond the pale!.

Do you or did you experience too much intrusion into your personal life by the elders in your congregation?

i ask this question because i have personally experienced first hand the control and intrusion into my personal life by the elders at our hall; and for virtually trivial things or non issues!

what's more, i regularly hear of individuals moving to other halls because they were stumbled by the thought police....er, i mean these elders.. have you had any such experience?

have your elders been a bit ott over trivialities?.

The first couple of months that my wife and I were married, I had a LOT of catching up to do in the sex department.

I had a couple of years to catch up on myself... after I tied the knot with my good lady 😉

Missed quite a few Saturday mornings for field service. At least we weren't harassed by the elders. 😂😂

Wow thanks for all the experiences guys. It is clear that many of these elders obssessively try to stick to the rule book ' shepherd the flock of God. The flip side to this is that they are stumbling people to the point where they either move congregation, fade or leave altogether.

I honestly don't think they realise the damage they are doing. Many of these control freaks try to enforce their own personal robotic lifestyle on others, thus preventing the basic human 'God given' right to freedom of choice, even if it is harmless.

Such behaviour by these men PROVES beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Watchtower organisation is captive, high control group, claiming to be Christian. Yet they will say we have freedom in Christ!

for me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, it's the extreme shunning policy.. at a recent sunday meeting, i listened to a complete brainwashed sister saying how important it was that we stick to the shunning policy even if it is a close relative.. i just thought.

wtf.

there is a big difference between the brainwashed and the awoken class!.

For me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, it's the extreme shunning policy.

At a recent Sunday meeting, I listened to a complete brainwashed sister saying how important it was that we stick to the shunning policy EVEN if it is a close relative.

I just thought. WTF

There is a big difference between the brainwashed and the awoken class!
