Thanks for the link. Very informative π
for those of you who are dissillusioned jehovahs witnesses, but still have a love for god, his son and the bible, i urge you to watch the following video.
the lecture given by sean finnegan will help you see things more clearly as a christian.. personally, this has to be one of the best presentations ever given and now know my christian identity.
the answer is given in the video.

The hypothetical example of a woman who was part of several faiths was a great point. There is so much disagreement and division within Christianity. Restorationist values allows us to speak our mind....to agree to disagree and to change thinking from within whatever church you are belong to ie to share your thoughts and expressions in a respectful manner.
. Sadly people get booted out for doing this in many groups such as the Jehovahs Witnesses ..which is wrong.
Food for thought though.

i am not on this site much lately, so i apologize up front if someone has already posted this, but i thought this was big news and wanted to share with the group.. crisis of conscience (fifth edition) is now available on kindle.
https://www.amazon.com/crisis-conscience-struggle-between-religion-ebook/dp/b07b7c21m3/ref=zg_bs_158371011_1?_encoding=utf8&psc=1&refrid=d50fq853aggrcmag7vzs.
.
I think the cover looks ok given the title. Ray franz's picture on the book reflects exactly what the book is about. It won't take anything away from this amazing book.
i posted this on r/exjw, but i thought i might post it here as well.
so the elders in our kh are moving to get us to sign new simplified blood cards and keep them on file.
i really need to not rock the boat in my current pimo status because of circumstances.. my cousin knows i have doubts about the blood thing, but i canβt show her that my doubts are getting to me.
I had 3 elders harass me about this a year and a half ago. I sent an email to two of them with a link to UK law that states that no one should be pressurised or coerced into signing a medical directive.
That shut them up. Never heard a word from them since
I wonder what Yahweh thinks π€
just watched this video on the blood issue.
the guy presenting the video gives some interesting statistics that quite frankly should alarm anyone involved with the watchtower.
as someone who has always had deep misgivings about this policy, it frightens me to think my relatives could one day find themselves in a situation where blood may be required to save their lives.. watch from about 13 minutes in.

given the numerous videos on youtube about all the scandals and controversies of the watchtower bible and tract society.
are they headed to becoming one of the most infamous religious groups in the world for all the wrong reasons?.

i was baptized at 14 and finally had enough at 50 years old.
i tried my best but being in jehovah land you are never good enough.
i'll be honest in rating myself: from a low score of 1-10.. donations: 2.....donated around $80 a year...our kingdom hall paid for too many remodels and always paid for c.o.
I'm a 3 out of 10 witness. Can't be bothered most of the time. Am a convert. Baptized 26 years ago. MS for about 12 years. Very much pimo. Only just in for social reasons and keep family happy. Frustrating having to listen to boring bs week in and week out. Oh well...never mind π
