Pioneer school in 1000 words

this strange photo is from a pioneer school graduating class in russia.. they're hiding their faces because, supposedly they don't want to be identified as jw's and run the risk of persecution.. the picture is very telling.

this very well illustrates how the pioneer school aims to make everyone into faceless drones whose minds are copies of wt indoctrinated automatons and not really individuals.. another thing i noticed when looking at the photo is that some aren't following the instructions to obscure their faces--some peek their eyes above the illuminators textbook and one is quite clearly exposing his profile as if he was talking to his neighbor in mid-shutter instant.. third, it's in russia, and the jw's aren't too welcome there.

communist oligarchs were quite acquainted with indoctrination and brain-washing techniques, they didn't like competition.

back in the early 70s, right before 1975 we had about 7 or 8 thousand professed anointed.

cant remember the exact number.

but at every convention we were told that the end is close ---because---the number of anointed is getting smaller and smaller.

Yes, that is pitiful. So they worked him all day, and before dinner, they had brothers from the moving department come and escort him out to his car. That's pretty cold blooded.

Not that any job is permanent, But, this is a volunteer that has given over four years of his life away, and they couldn't let him have dinner or better yet, stay for breakfast and give him the whole day for traveling? And no going away party? Well if you don't celebrate birthdays, why would you have a going away party, like you would show some appreciation for someone giving four years of their lives to you for practically nothing.

Hate to say it, but it brings back bitter memories of my "Bethel" Service.

The only good thing that I see is that they didn't wait until he was 65 years old to throw him on the street.

I wanted to make another comment. I remember years ago myself and some other witnesses would play music at some witness gatherings. We got so much grief that we stopped. One brother was offended by the lyrics in "Achie Breaky Heart". " I just want to kill this man" or something like that. At the time it was a very popular song.

We didn't play too loud, we played songs that everyone could sing along with, but there was always some weak conscienced brother or sister, that would get upset. We got tired of being grilled by the elders. So we just stopped playing at the witness gatherings.

But then this is posted on the WWW? Unbelievable where this religion has gone.

Why didn't they just take the delegates to Billy Bobs in Fort Worth, or the Broken Spoke in Austin. I guess the Kingdom Hall is not so sacred anymore?

I remember how gut wrenching it was in composition of my first post here. It does take bravery. Bravery to accept that you have been conned or duped into believe the WTBTS lies. Bravery to accept that you hooked up with and believed the lies of the likes of "Bernie Madoff".

I'm glad that your husband is awake. That is a huge plus. When I first told my wife about my suspicions about the organization, I was concerned about her reaction. But we survived. it is a new journey. Sit back and enjoy it. I'm finally coming to accept the last fifty years.

My sister is being harassed by the elders

sometime ago i wrote here in this forum about the case of my sister, who decided to stop attending the meetings because she realised that the watchtower society is an evil organization.

this happened more than one year ago.

i am not living in the same country of my sister, so i learn about her case when she calls me or when she write me through whatsapp.

Your sister needs to file a request for an order of protection, Monday Morning With the local police! !!! Don't even bother calling WTBTS. An order of protection is better than a restraining order. If they break an "order of protection" the elders can personally can go to jail. They cannot visit her house uninvited, this is stalking. She needs to get their names, addressees and phone numbers if possible, or as much information about the elders/ stalkers for the written complaint and request for an order of protection. HINT: Google and other search engines, even Facebook, are a great providers of addresses phone numbers and birthays, and other information needed in filing out an order of protection.

If she files for a restraining order or even better an order of protection she will most likely get it, but if they deny visiting her house, she will need a photo or some proof. If she explains to a judge what they are doing, they will have to lie to get out of it. Judges today will err on the side of the accuser. Proof via Camera phones' photo is acceptable.

I can almost guarantee that if she files for an order of protection against the elders individually, she will never face the committee for the accusations of apostasy. The elders are instructed to drop the pursuit mode if inactive people even hint at legal repercussions. Hope this helps.

File the order of protection on the individuals NOT the congregation or WTBTS.

well there are lots of reason for sure, denial, delusion, wishful thinking, ego maniac, infantile understanding of ancient writings, satanophobia, xenophobia, out of touch with reality, limited choices scrapping the bottom of the barrel,and many more.. listen to this ted talk and see if you can pick out something that helps explain why these guys are such ass holes:.

organizations are often run according to the superchicken model, where the value is placed on star employees who outperform others.

and yet, this isnt what drives the most high-achieving teams.

I Don't Get It!

there are literally about thirty young single very good looking sisters in this one kingdom hall under the age of 30. that is just one kingdom hall.

in the circuit there are literally hundreds of young beautiful jw girls under 30 who are single and anxious to get married.

about two years ago, this one single good looking brother who is about 30 years old and who is an elder married this plain looking sister who is 59 years old.

The young brother is probably thinking that the Great Match Maker in Heaven, Jehovah, with his rolodex is maneuvering things, and he believes that since the older sister has expressed interest and is probably very persistent that it must be "Jehovah's Will". He might also be justifying that the older woman won't have any interest in having children. LOL.

You remember what Johnny Carson used to say about "Day Old Bread"? Tomorrow, you have two day old bread.
