so it all came about and us too by an accident or big boom and we are accountable to nothing or no one. How does that make you feel to know that you can do whatever you like and never have to be accountable? ( oh, but you have a conscience!-but surely that would get in the way of science! ) ( just want to add that many have died and become disabled these past 2 years because they were told to trust the science!)

Is it Logical To Beleive In A Creator - GOD ? In This Scientific Age ?
by smiddy3 ini don`t think so .
hasn`t science ,astronomy ,time , .....proven it an illogical beleif ?.
with the information about this solar system and it`s planets ,other stars and their planets that we have information about ,and the fact that no god has ever revealed him/her self in any shape or form 'there is no evidence that a creator / god has ever existed.. except in the minds of humans who want to control a section of humanity .. the fact that religions rely on "you have to have faith" to beleive in a god ,surely is a cop out.. i look forward to your comments .. and a happy new year to you all..

JW Broadcasting - simply a platform for narcissists?
by eyeslice inone thing i notice from sitting through a number of broadcasts is just how much these guys love their titles.
it's always brother such-and-such, member of the gb, helper to the teaching committee, etc.
it's never simply brother such-and-such, a local elder with such-and-such congregation.. it seems to me the witnesses are pretty quick to pick up on catholics who call their priests father, which at the end of the day is in much the same vein simply a title.. i suspect these titles point to a huge amount of narcissism of the part of those who revel in such titles, certainly it doesn't seem to fall in line with christ's advocation that the greatest amongst you should be be the least.

FedUpJW....I think she got it wrong. We see 2 angels out front so to speak. I think they represent the angels describe at REV 14:
6And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 7and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.”
8And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality.”
Why isn't Jesus in the picture? found that answer?:
- This Is the Day of Salvation! (10 occurrences)
10. To whom did Jehovah commit the ministry of reconciliation, and what have they done to carry it out?
10 Jehovah has committed the ministry of reconciliation to the anointed, so Paul could say: “We are therefore ambassadors substituting for Christ, as though God were making entreaty through us.////////// Jesus isn't in the pic because the GB are his substitute! (HUBRIS!) ( some of us know they worded 2 Cor 5:20 to support they are Christ's substitutes. It reads in NWT Therefore, we are ambassadors, substituting for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us. As SUBSTITUTES for Christ, we beg:"Become reconciled to God."

back to the published picture with the GB at top of earth-it was noted that Jesus was dressed in white to the right and slightly lower than the GB--I see an angel there, ( or I am missing something ) I actually see more than one angel...I thought these represented the angels in midheaven declaring the good news. ( So I really don't see Jesus at all.)

I watched a video about the televangelist, They are rolling in wealth! So I am thinking about Ramapo! How will spending all that money and making videos increase the Org wealth? ( unless they are going to have it built with donations and free labor and sell it off to the "world church"---( or maybe it is being built as part of the world church---funny where my brain goes...that is because the building of 2 movie studios makes absolutely no sense to me.)

drinking wine in the Kingdom
by enoughisenough insomething jumped out at me that i never paid attention to while reading further into matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin.
but note vs 29 but i say to you: i will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in the kingdom of my father.
cross reference luke 22:18 for i tell you , from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.. what is the point of all of this: matt 26:29 " i drink it new with you " mark 14:25 " drink new in the kingdom of god.

further context in Luke 22 mentions eating and drinking at Jesus's table in the Kingdom. ( back to my original thought, we think of eating and drinking as earthly, not heavenly.)

The heading Earthly Part of God's organization doesn't consider Jesus the Head of the congregations. Jesus isn't even given a number, the GB being number one. I never paid attention to that pic until it was pointed out by an ex JW....it is there for the rank and file and they don't even see it. Truly the org. is evil. Where can we find this pic in the publications...I want to check it out again in the context in which it was printed.

rules and regulations....that isn't the way I see that picture. I think it is "Jehovah" on the throne and Jesus is totally out of the picture..
eyeslice, we were taught to think the clergy as haughty, trying to lord it over others....JW don't have a clergy class, all being equal as brothers and sisters. I don't know how we bought into that, when everyday facts proved otherwise. They created divisions; whereas elders and ministerial servants are mentioned in the Bble, governing body, district and circuit overseers, aux pioneers, pioneers, and publishers are not titles you see in the Bible. They made up that hierarchy. The less hours you publish, the less spiritual and therefore possible bad association you were considered.

This is very interesting concerning wine/no wine, but the point of my post is the Jesus drinking the product of the vine AGAIN with his followers in the "Kingdom of God", the " Kingdom of the Father"...WT would have you believe these ones would be in heaven...that isn't the picture I am getting from what Jesus said. My understanding is heaven is a spirit realm .

Disillusioned JW- you wrote freshly squeezed grape juice is fitting for the representation of Jesus's blood, but this is Passover, early Spring...would they have had fresh juice? When Jesus turned water into wine, it was clearly Wine, not juice. So that is another tangent......I think TD made a valid point!
