I am willing to bet most of the JW who heard that talk never even picked up on what was actually being said. The very hubris is appalling. I don't watch these programs now, but there are some who do and highlight the nonsense...I do watch them sometimes.

Personally I never read that in the scriptures...but of course the ones she is talking to on the phone try to defend their faith -which includes hanging up on her.

talked to a friend yesterday who got sick everytime they took a shot, but now after booster has stayed sick--saying they aren't going to take anymore...I had told them after the first one what the skinny was on those jabs, I made a point in saying Jesus wouldn't direct the GB to have people take those shots. Dr Tennpenny predicts a tsunami of regret where those jabs are concerned.

Are Jehovah's Witnesses who are disfellowshipped allowed to communicate and comfort each other while waiting to be reinstated?
by Vanderhoven7 ini just read about a disfellowshipped person who was looking for other disfellowshipped persons to socialize with.
what does the org have to say about this?.

I think the answer is they are not allowed if seeking reinstatement....a quick search didn't turn that up in JW.org, but I seem to recall that being brought out once upon a time.

i threw the vase away because i couldn't look at it without thinking how i was judged spiritually sick.

I think it terrible that any one is labeled spiritually weak or sick...Men can't read hearts. They read time reports and judge you. The others read if you are at the meetings or in service and judge you. The Bible says not to judge others...but the JW never got that message. They have their little social cliques! My mother in law died and the some of the brothers were afraid they would be ask to do her funeral, because she was a "weak" witness. ( actually she really was quite unprincipled -but she still upheld the organization. )

Claim and Counter-claim
by Vanderhoven7 inclaim: sincec2017 jehovah's witnesses have sold 2 billion dollars worth of kingdom halls in the united states alone, yet on a recent broadcast they said they needed so many kingdom halls to be built.
counter-claim: jehovah’s witnesses sold their world headquarters in nyc and built a new one in a different location.
even if your claim is accurate that would skew the accuracy of your numbers.

I just had a thought about how the org. had letter writing campaigns to various authorities throughout the years-Rwanda and Russia came to mind- to garner change in behalf of the organization. I suppose those inclined who live outside of Norway could write to Norway with a view to the lack of human rights inside the org. Before waking up, it never occurred to me that the treatment of the disfellowshipped or disassociated was inhumane-all you ever heard (beings God forbid you think for yourself ) was these were unrepentant wrong doers or enemies of God so you just knew you didn't want to associate with them. Once you have the blinders off, you can see the twisting of the scriptures they use to support the terrible way they treat people. Shelved in the back of my mind, I always knew the scriptures they use to justify their means were taken out of context.

no-zombie--once the person determined they couldn't cure me, the person was going to call for the "specialist", to which I said not to bother that I would take care of it...so I wrote my letter of disassociation. I knew I would be ratted out, but I didn't like pretending to be in favor of the witness lies. Just a few days before what I have related, the person told me if we ever ended up in a consecration camp, they hoped we would be together because I had a better memory of scriptures- and I was thinking to self, if you only knew what I really think you would change your tune....so then it bothered me that this person within a few short days told me I was spiritually sick and brought me flowers. The flowers didn't last long, but the vase was pretty nice but I found no joy in any of it.

I thought of this today. When I first told a certain person I didn't believe the GB were the faithful slave, that person told me I was spiritually sick....even bought me flowers. I threw the vase away because I couldn't look at it without thinking how I was judged spiritually sick. I decided to do a quick search ( in JWorg ) Bible to see if the words spiritually sick or weak show up together in a Bible verse . I didn't go through all the pages where the word sick or sickness or weak showed up, but enough for me to be satisfied that the Bible doesn't use the term spiritually weak or sick together--but feel free to correct me if you know of a verse. It occurred to me it is a term the JW use in a judgmental way. I know they like the use the term to justify the way they hold judicial meetings ( James 5:14- which I always thought was referring to a literal illness. ) I just thought I would throw this out there. There is a lot of information in the literature about spiritual sickness and i couldn't find the term in the Bible. -

Exercise Patience Regional Convention
by Rattigan350 inthe theme of the in person convention this year is "exercise patience".
looking at the convention map, they are really using their assembly halls and they are using smaller civic centers or city arena.
no more huge stadiums.. are they not expecting a great crowd?

I got off on a rant...I wanted to adress the be patient! Maybe this is a sag-way into dealing with the 1914 that sooner or later they will have to deal with.
