Sea Breeze, I take your point. I base my beliefs on what I read from the Bible...I have a friend of a Christian religion and she is fed up with it because of what she knows isn't correct in it. I could go to a local church but I wouldn't be popular because I would want to say, "No, your mother isn't in heaven because the resurrection is on the last day and we haven't seen it yet."

When I was a kid, before I ever heard about a JW, I knew that Jesus wasn't God almighty. Even if one were to find a church around here that teaches Jesus is the son of God rather than God himself, they still celebrate the lie of xmas being his birthday. Jesus told the Samaritan woman that God was to be worshipped in spirit and in TRUTH. There isn't any "truth" in xmas. If you are going to waste time in lies, you just as well stay pimo and have your friends and family around. No wonder some become atheist or agnostics. Here is another lie the churches teach-the good go to heaven when they die. A preacher told Mom my little brother went to heaven in the smoke of the housefire that killed him A Baptist preacher who knew my 18 year old brother who had been an ornery kid all his life preached to the crowd that this brother who was killed in a car wreck had gone to hell. ( unless he had changed his ways and as far as the preacher knew from 3 days back, he hadn't.) Then there was the grand father-in-law who was a drunk and woman chaser who was a marvelous Christian and was in heaven-according to the preacher at the last "worldly" funeral I ever went to....If I want lies, I will go back to KH! I watch some exjw experiences on youtube to see what caused them to wake up and how they handled it, but when they start in on how they discovered Jesus is Almighty God himself--I just look for something else.

the reason I am not going to a church is because I am surrounded ( 2 within a short walk )of mainstream denominations...I know they aren't teaching the truth either. Yes, they teach Jesus, but they also teach the mainstream church lies as well. What is the point if you know you are going from one lying organization to another? I watch and listen to youtube, and so many who leave JW go from frying pan to fire.

An interesting Blog post
by Blotty inthis is quite an interesting blog post - somethings i find to be "ehh" and some with fundamentally flawed arguments.
but an interesting point of view and worth looking into (not sure if this person is a jw):https://jimspace3000.blogspot.com/2021/01/answers-to-10-questions-answers.html.

"ehh" is correct ...trying to combat falsehood with falsehood from what I gleaned with my quick scan of the info.

Staying in physically for all the benefits
by Indoubtbigtime ini wonder how many are like me staying pimo for the great association and gathering etc.
also find it very interesting having a front row seat watching the collapse of borg.. im not wasting any more time or money on anything i don’t want to do like preaching and mostly just go on zoom .
there is nothing i want to do that would be considered disfellowshiping sin, i’m married and want to live by bible principles but i have serious doubts that the gb were chosen by god and are his one and only spokesmen on earth.

"We ask members of Jehovah’s Witnesses to consider one more statement found in a Watchtower Society publication: "Knowing these things, what will you do? It is obvious that the true God, who is himself "the God of truth" and who hates lies, will not look with favor on persons who cling to organizations that teach falsehood. . . . And really, would you want to be even associated with a religion that had not been honest with you?9" --copied and pasted from the article linked above

ThomasCovenant makes a good point as far as I am concerned. If all the PIMOs would do a big walk out so to speak, it would shake things up and make others wonder and perhaps question why and once they understood, they also would leave. People have to do what it takes to survive mentally, as well as physically. They know when they can't do it anymore.

Common sense on Jockland's gender Bill
by LoveUniHateExams innicola sturgeon's daft plan to introduce a gender bill which allows anyone aged 16 and over to legally change gender without a doctor's diagnosis of gender dysphoria has rightly been stopped by pm rishi sunak.. under the rules of devolvement, the uk government can overrule holyrood if the pm so chooses.. lots of predictable howling form the scotch nuts, with ridiculous claims that rishi is trying to organise a fight with holyrood.
of course, it's actually the other way round - the snp has been trying to pass this gender bill in order to drive a wedge between scotland and the rest of the uk.. sensibly, rishi has pulled rank on sturgeon and stopped her nonsense.. nicola sturgeon needs to know her place ....

brother -in-law spoke of kids in the local school identifying as cats and the school board saying they wouldn't be supply litter boxes! also one student identifying as dog and wouldn't talk but would bark. If one identifies with what they are actually not....can you blame others if they conclude these ones have mental issues?

indoubtbigtime, I am not jealous of PIMO...I just don't know how they do it. The incentive must be very strong. I thought to play the game and just couldn't. I agree the GB encourages dishonesty...but not only in the manner you suggest. Any of us who promoted JW were teaching lies upon lies to people. The JW say they are looking for honest hearted ones. To not be a JW suggests you are not honest hearted. The real honest hearted ones end up discerning the lies and can no longer preach them.

Are they now tracking our activity on jw.org app?
by raymond frantz inthis disclaimer appeared on my jw.org app after using their add notes function on the watchtower study section are they now tracking the app and what we add to it?
the information i add on their note section is mainly points that i can use on my videos which is really clashed as apostate material.this information is saved on my drive and not on cloud so are they installing a tracker on your system once you press accept so they can use this information against in the future?
have you had a similar experience?.

to answer the title question: ( copied and pasted from Joey jojo post above) "We collect information on how you use JW Library so that we can improve the app and deliver a better experience. To do this, we use unique device identifiers that identify your computer or mobile device. The app also logs information such as your operating system and IP address."
