  If JW is not the truth, then what is the true religion?

  even though i'm disfellowshiped ( & i belive wrongfully so).

  i still belive this is the truth.

  i have been d'f for about 8 months now and working on reinstatement.

  Matt 7:16 By their fruits you will know them....What do you think about this fruit? The concealing of known child abusers. The JW are spending millions in lawsuits to victims and in lawsuits to suppress evidence. What about the shunning-you know what that is now- is that a good fruit? They like to preach about the love they have among themselves, but think about it...where is that love? are you feeling it? Why do you suppose people lied about their time in service...because they knew they would be judged adversely, as spiritually weak and therefore not be considered good association...Is that love among yourselves? As to what is the true religion? Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, it wasn't in that mountain, or in Jersalem ( where you would have thought it to be ) but to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Can you worship in truth when you must obey 9 self appointed men. ( because they were not appointed the faithful and discreet slave. )

  Matthew 24:45-47

  New International Version

  45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possession.

  Notice vs 46 "doing so when he returns"....If Jesus returned in 1914, why is the memorial still celebrated? 1 Corinthians 11:26

  Matt 26:28 tells us that the new covenant was for the forgiveness of sins for the MANY , not for just 144,000-cross reference Luke 22:20.

  They print lies and JW can't dare challenge them on the lies...those that studied the Bible and discerned the lies were DF or took themselves out ( I took myself out ) or are pretending to be JW so as not to loose their friends and family.

  PIMI wife told to go against her husband and take the vaccines?

  if a pimi sister has been told by her unbelieving husband not to take these experimental vaccines then what is official jw policy in this situation?.

  should she go against her husband and tell him i will do what the men at my church tell me?.

  what on earth will the husband think then?

  smiddy3...that would be great if the story that went along with it was you disassociated...but they read off you aren't any longer a witness and that leaves ones to speculate. That being said, on the local level, some knew why I left...hopefully that is what spread. ( what prompted this post was I have a friend in Puerto Rico and I get a ph message they aren't taking calls.) ( of course it could be because I suggested they look up certain scriptures that don't go along with WT narrative.)

  i'm a single sister ( in usa) that has been baptized for 20 years.

  i came from the world, so did not grow up in the truth and i have no family in the truth -- i am alone.. last year i met a brother & we did have premarital sex while we were dating.

  Sue, the whole set up of the judicial committee is unscriptual. They twist the scriptures. Show me in the Bible where you are to called before 3 men and spill your guts. This is high control. This having to beg to be let back in is unscriptual as well. If God has forgiven you, why do you have to be judged as fit or unfit by a group of egotists? In the parable of the prodigal, he father saw him away off and welcomed him. The son didn't have to beg and plea to the father. Please do your research before you continue with your reinstatement. You have been duped. There isn't a faithful and discreet slave of 9 men...they made all of it up. Jesus didn't return in 1914 and approve them in 1919...Why would he...they were preaching the pyramid was a pillar of witness. They were teaching Micheal was the Pope. The date they use for the fall of Jerusalem to get to the year of 1914 in historically incorrect. The problem with the rank and file JW is they are believing whatever is printed by JW organization, instead of making sure of all things and hold onto what is fine. There is a lot of truthful information out there about the JW...Books, webpages, youtube, etc. If what you believe to be true is really true , it will withstand looking at these sources. Do you think I come on a bit strong? I hate injustice and lies. I hate knowing I was gullble for 50 years and because of the so called :truth", I made bad decisions...Decisions that left me homeless and at other's mercy. ( now if you really want to know about the reinstatement process, you can google and find Shepard the Flock of God book online ( the elder's guide book,) The witenesses who studies with you , they aren't going to tell you what you are getting into...that is why you were so blindsided. ( some of them don't know because they toe the line so they won't get in trouble.

  BoogerMan...I told a JW a truthful concern of mine in a congregation 1.5 hours away from my congregation, ( in WV) What I told went to NY state and back to WV to a person who told an elder's wife... I was called out for slander. I was judged for slander before I ever got to defend myself.

Do any of you know if they also contact congreagations you have gone to previously? ( or do you think it is just the gossip mill? ) in this case the mill would have gone from NC to WV to Maine to PR .

  i was scanning throught the shepard the flock book and found some questions that would create an "out" or excuse not to support .

  1 question is , does his wife have material resources affording a secure life so the family isn't destitute?

  This came to mind...a "brother" ( elder , pioneer ) kicked out his wife with alzheimers. He dumped her in her son's yard while the son was at work. He took out an ad in the paper he wouldn't be responsible for her debts. The only money she had was a small SS check which went into a joint account, and access to account was blocked. Her children and I pooled together money to open a bank account for her so she had an account for her SS to go to. The man remained in good standing with people thinking him wonderful until the day he died and after. He left the property to one of his sons. He had told another brother I knew that that old woman had nothing when I got her and won't have anything when I leave. They were married for 30 years...she helped him raise his 4 sons from a previous marriage. This is true and it leaves your head wagging.

I was scanning throught the Shepard the Flock book and found some questions that would create an "out" or excuse not to support . 1 question is , does his wife have material resources affording a secure life so the family isn't destitute? 2 if the family is destitute, is it because they have rejected the family head's provision by choosing to live apart from him? 3 When a separation is involved, to what extent is the other mate responsible. Excuse ME! but what I see here are loop holes in favor of men. What different should it make if the wife has her own money? How does that excuse a family head from responsibility? The question uses the words material resources-very interesting. How many woman have had to get on social services on account of dead beat husbands? ( so if she is getting these services for the kids, why is that a factor in whether the head is supporting their own or not? --My dad left my mother with 7 kids from and infant to 17 years old; Mom got welfare for us ) Then there is the 2 question : ....is it because they have rejected the family head's provision by choosing to live apart? Excuse me, many have to leave due to physical abuse, verbal abuse or the lack of support. Commenting on #3 as to what extent is the other mate responsible- Women are expected to stay and put up with abuse. If she leaves, she is the culprit because of her independant thinking. I was in a congregation where a talk was given about women who became independant of their husbands and caused a breakup in the marriage. It was not mentioned that the sisite had suffered both physical and verbal abuse or that her husband had committed adultery ( elders wanted to keep that quiet )

  Think about what you observed as to what happened when people are reinstated. I think they will welcome you, but keep in the back of their mind that you aren't very spiritual or you would never have been df to begin with.

  I had another thought for you Sue...read the Bible...not along with JW pubications. They tell you you can't learn the truth without them, but the Bible says it makes one competant for every good work. Try to take off the JW filters and read what the Bible says. I will give you an example-the JW teach baptism is a symbol of your dedication to Jehovah...where is that statement in the Bible? Acts 2:38 says:....repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.......You can not only keep your relationship with Jehovah and his Son, but strengthen it if you read the Bible without JW programming what you are supposed to believe when you read a particular verse.
