JW claim they are the true religion and they mention the love they have among themselves as proof. I have been watching a youtube creator who had some thoughts on the subject, bringing out JW were not really Christian, based upon their actions. He made a pretty good case. I was thinking of the Bethelites who were let go-essentially being told to keep warm and well fed, but literally not caring what happened to them after they got the free labor they desired from them. How many went out moneyless and homeless and cast upon the mercy of others? I know a couple who thought they would be set for life ( having been told so ) so they sold out, quit work, went to Bethel, only to be sent home when they had health issues. Tony must really have the goods for that heartless org to set him up in a home. The other Christian churches have programs for the poor or homeless...JW don't. The so called love among themselves is shallow and conditional. Even while in, before I was shunned, I felt like for the most part no one knew I existed unless they wanted something from me. As many of us know, they will hard heartenly drop you like a hot potato if you don't please them. They will slander you and throw you under the bus. This is what I have seen.

Are JWs forgetting Jesus altogether?
by KerryKing ina relative sent me yesterday's wt study article 46, how jehovah guarantees his promise of paradise.. it's been a long time since i read one of those articles but what really struck me about this one is that, considering it's discussing a fundamental jw belief, it only mentions jesus twice as an aside, and not at all as the central figure like the bible does.
it actually mentions satan far more in the same article!.
i don't remember this discrepancy from my time in the org 15 years ago.

there was a youtuber, ( can't remember which, but I think maybe Berean Pickets) who went through an article and searched out words like Jehovah, Organization, Jesus, etc...Jesus took the back seat.

by West70 inthe last 5 months of charles taze russell's life was quite hectic, and according to reports in the watch tower magazine, russell's health was declining throughout.
in september, 1916, russell went on a convention train tour which lasted nearly the entire month.
this train tour included stops in several southern california locations around the 8th through the 12th.

I will be vilified for this conspiracy. I have listened to a lot of youtube videos while working so I don't remember where I heard this. Anyway, it makes sense if true. Russel was part of some secret society in which he had to be sacrficed on a certain day ( or something like that ) Has anyone else heard that theory or know more about it?

then it's all confusing word salad...as in Jesus has been king since 1914, but hasn't sat on his throne to judge yet. They did the same with the faithful slave as in the slave was appointed in 1919 but won't get appointed over all his belongings until after tribulation. They just twist these scriptures to fit whatever scenario they want and the r and f eat that hog wash all up. The scriptures about the faithful slave was twisted and lifted out of context decades ago-we were just too gullible to catch on.

Is there “new light” on 1914?
by wallsofjericho ini’m hearing paraphrasing like “we just don’t know” .
is this regarding 1914?
or micheal the arch angel?.

SadElder...exactly...if he has yet to become judge for separating the sheep and goats, how could he have inspected the religions and appoint the JW as faithful slave? Wouldn't you have to have been judging to do that? ( of course, most on here know it's bogus anyway )

Are You Ready for the Most Important Day of the Year?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inluke 22:14 so when the hour came, he reclined at the table along with the apostles.
and he said to them: “i have greatly desired to eat this passover with you before i suffer; 16 for i tell you, i will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of god.” 17 and accepting a cup, he gave thanks and said: “take this and pass it from one to the other among yourselves, 18 for i tell you, from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.”.
19 also, he took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying: “this means my body, which is to be given in your behalf.

rules and regulations- Matt 26:28 says forgiveness of sins for the Many....not just 144000 who are said to be corulers in the kingdom. The covenant for the kingdom was a separate covenant. Jw comingle the two so as to bolster their authority and lord it over the r and f.

they cherry pick scripture to support their lies. Cross reference to Matt 26:28 28 This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. /// poured out for the many for forgiveness of sins. ( not about choosing a ruling heavenly class )

If I get your drift, do you think they are just acting so as to entrap you? The thought I had is, if you think that, turn the tables and say I am going to have to report you to the other elders for apostasy. lol I do know elders don't hesitate to set you up for a fall-loving shepards that they are.
