the attempting to explain about how the new light comes about shows they know they have been publishing lies for years. One of the fellows said," what are we to believe now?" When you get out, you see so plainly the manipulation...anyone in there, WAKE UP! How do you not resent the lies and the fact they blame the lies on a God you profess to love and worship?

the video bugs me everytime I see it. The are literally blaming God for the failed information they dreamed up. They publish what God reveals to them. I should hope that the JW who hear this will not get caught up in the wordiness of it and miss the point that they are really calling God a liar. ( in other words, if they got it wrong,it's because God didn't reveal it correctly to start with. ) Disgusting. And I shouldn't pick on anyone's appearance, but he looks so smug when he is mouthing off those lies and what is that silly grin about. I really do find him disgusting because surely he knows he is spurring lies.

Thoughts on annual meeting “new light”
by FFGhost inso, i finally saw the annual meeting video part 2.. this is the one with the “new light” on who might survive armageddon, vs. those who do not.. in summary, for those of you fortunate enough not to have to sit through it, it’s something like this:.
old light: once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-jws.
the “door of the ark” is closed.

as one of the speakers said at the annual meeting: what do we believe now? ( actually that should tell the r and f something ) they keep changing the beliefs and so one wonders what the spiritual food of the day is . The org is nothing like it was when I started going to meetings 50 + years ago

JW Chrisians in name only-what do you think
by enoughisenough injw claim they are the true religion and they mention the love they have among themselves as proof.
i have been watching a youtube creator who had some thoughts on the subject, bringing out jw were not really christian, based upon their actions.
he made a pretty good case.

"witnesses can do what they want for charities" - first they would decide if it is in any way related to other religions. Not many JW are flush with cash, so what money they do have to donate, they feel obligated to donate to the org, not to mention the cost of keeping and running transportation for service. So I wonder how many actually donate to some of the other charities. I donated to a local place here that provided food, electric heaters/fans etc. I had a JW friend who encouraged me to go to that food pantry. She told me all the things she got for free. I wasn't happy! She had investments and owned rental property. I thought her generous as she fronted money so I could rent a place when I was broke. On another note, James 1:27 says pure religion looks after orphans and widows. What pray tell does the JW have in place to facilitate these acts? ( go to your close relatives for help even if they are df.)

I was thinking if saying you believe in Christ Jesus makes one Christian but there are millions who claim it. The Bible does speak of those who have a form of Godly devotion, but prove false to it's power. Many on here have been kicked to the curb by those who claim to be Christian. It's like they love to prove to others they are Christians by being cold and heartless. ( instead of loving )

JW claim they are the true religion and they mention the love they have among themselves as proof. I have been watching a youtube creator who had some thoughts on the subject, bringing out JW were not really Christian, based upon their actions. He made a pretty good case. I was thinking of the Bethelites who were let go-essentially being told to keep warm and well fed, but literally not caring what happened to them after they got the free labor they desired from them. How many went out moneyless and homeless and cast upon the mercy of others? I know a couple who thought they would be set for life ( having been told so ) so they sold out, quit work, went to Bethel, only to be sent home when they had health issues. Tony must really have the goods for that heartless org to set him up in a home. The other Christian churches have programs for the poor or homeless...JW don't. The so called love among themselves is shallow and conditional. Even while in, before I was shunned, I felt like for the most part no one knew I existed unless they wanted something from me. As many of us know, they will hard heartenly drop you like a hot potato if you don't please them. They will slander you and throw you under the bus. This is what I have seen.

Are JWs forgetting Jesus altogether?
by KerryKing ina relative sent me yesterday's wt study article 46, how jehovah guarantees his promise of paradise.. it's been a long time since i read one of those articles but what really struck me about this one is that, considering it's discussing a fundamental jw belief, it only mentions jesus twice as an aside, and not at all as the central figure like the bible does.
it actually mentions satan far more in the same article!.
i don't remember this discrepancy from my time in the org 15 years ago.

there was a youtuber, ( can't remember which, but I think maybe Berean Pickets) who went through an article and searched out words like Jehovah, Organization, Jesus, etc...Jesus took the back seat.

I will be vilified for this conspiracy. I have listened to a lot of youtube videos while working so I don't remember where I heard this. Anyway, it makes sense if true. Russel was part of some secret society in which he had to be sacrficed on a certain day ( or something like that ) Has anyone else heard that theory or know more about it?

then it's all confusing word salad...as in Jesus has been king since 1914, but hasn't sat on his throne to judge yet. They did the same with the faithful slave as in the slave was appointed in 1919 but won't get appointed over all his belongings until after tribulation. They just twist these scriptures to fit whatever scenario they want and the r and f eat that hog wash all up. The scriptures about the faithful slave was twisted and lifted out of context decades ago-we were just too gullible to catch on.
