a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.
what about his sons and their wives? Has anybody heard what may have happened to them? Has there been any recent sightings of the Morris brothers?
One of his sons, Paul is in the Service Committee, while the other, Jesse, is a member of the US Branch Committee.
i’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.
from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.
there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.
What have they done with the idea of the “hailstone message”? Have they given it a new interpretation, abandoned the idea, or just ignored what they said previously?

What is “the end” referred to there? Well, it’s the final part of the great tribulation. So that means that during the great tribulation, the good news of the Kingdom will still be preached. And it’s still good news to us but not to the rest of the world. That good news will become more hard-hitting as time goes on, causing people to make a decision one way or the other, whether they accept the Kingdom or not.

Jackson's goatee is real. He is in India for a headquarters visit and he has that goatee, I got to see him in person in the special program. The Writing Committee helper who has come along has a full beard too.

it makes me wonder how many would have left their own jobs and paid their way, giving free labor and some supplying free materials if they had know what was going on behind the scenes.
I am not sure how it happens in US, but during the 2004 Tsunami, the WT in India built and repaired around 350 houses of JW's in the affected area, and almost none of them had homeowner insurance as it's not a popular form of Insurance here in India. I know because I coordinated the relief efforts during that time and was on the committee that had oversight.
During COVID, Angola, Zimbabwe and Venezuela were provided with relief in the same way.
I am not sure of Wt actually makes any "profit" out of disasters - whatever that means, unless there are actual numbers to prove.

This clip is not "from the last weekend" as he says, but from the last year's 2023 "Exercise Patience" Regional Convention - Last talk of Friday afternoon session, given by the branch representative.
The speaker in the convention is simply explaining Matt 25:31 and saying that Jesus will sit on his judgement throne to separate the sheep and the goats in the future, and not in 1914 as once thought.
The creator of the video is just getting confused with the semantics about Jesus becoming king in 1914 vs. sitting on his judgement throne in the future during the great tribulation.

branches of jehovah’s witnesses: 85 (= down one from 86 from the previous year and quite possibly they are referring to the hong kong bethel that closed down recently).
number of lands reporting: 239 ( =the same as 2022).
I think you can spin any statistics to any conclusion that you want. If the numbers increase then they are fake and if they decrease then the WT is dying.
