Saw one video. He looked like he was in good health. Much better then most of other GB members. Shows that his sacking couldn't have been cause age or health.

Zoom- CO's were told to tell elders/ms not to be on it unless you have a reason PERIOD!
by XBEHERE infrom reddit exjw.
https://www.reddit.com/r/exjw/comments/143556c/co_meeting_with_elders_gb_seems_desperate/.
pretty much what other appointed men have been telling me.

Hellothere
Don't think JWs returning to halls. Everything has too do with lack motivation and enthusiasm. That been going down for decades. Don't know what GB gonna do. Maeby dress as cheerleader and jump around trying to motivate everyone ๐. Seems like lost cause.

Hellothere
Look's like watchtower is still in the 90s when JWs still got some excitement for new litteratur and such. Sorry today's JW are very different. Today's JW you have too threaten to go d2d and meetings. New brochure is not gonna raise an eyebrow.

Today's WT Study: "By This All Will Know That You Are My Disciples". Hmmmm. . . . . . . .๐คจ
by HiddlesWife inone of my close pimo relatives showed me the article and spoke about today's study.
she was disturbed concerning the points/statements within it, such as: "so, the more we get to know those in the congregation, the more likely we are to see more of their flaws.
sadly, some have allowed the imperfections of others to stumble them.

Hellothere
Basically GB writes about stuff they can themselves do. If they don't like being kind or be working on having a Christian personality, then it's all about forgiving someone that's rude. If they don't have problems with controlling sexual desires, then many articles gonna be about flee immorality. They seem too like to preach and have put all focus on that. They not interested in progressing platform, so they almost never talk about that subject. I never understood why they never have focus much on agape or Christian personality, till i saw Tony Morris on the broadcast ๐

Confirmed: CO Discourages Zoom
by XBEHERE ini can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.
this had to come down from the top.
maybe they do not want to put it in a gb update or broadcast since that would be too public i suppose.

To tell you the truth many JWs are at the end of their rope. Problems depression, anxiety, stress and poverty. How does a uneducated co decide who is sick or not to attend meetings? Bet suicides in JW land gonna go up and up.

Why are they still using zoom
by XBEHERE inwhat do you think the main reason is?
$$$$?.

Hellothere
Well it's either having 40 % on zoom or 40% not attending meetings at all. I think Watchtower prefer 40% on Zoom and sell hall. There would be too much disturbance if suddenly 40% of JWs weren't counted for at meetings.

by ComingOutaMyCage inhttps://i.redd.it/hd9p1g3ssr2b1.jpg.
1290 jw congregations have been deleted since 4th dec 2022. i have a full map so you can explore active/deleted congs, and also orphaned halls https://analytics.jws-library.one/viewmap.html.
many of the deletions in the usa appear to be foreign language groups.

What`s the reason some of you think JW`s are in decline ?
by smiddy3 infrom what i can see no such thing is happening.i became a jw in 1960 and remained for about 30 years and the numbers of active jw`s today in the world are far greater than they were back then.. and here in australia the numbers are much higher than they were back then .. so i don`t see that their in decline or have any worries about losing support .. don`t the numbers speak for themselves ?.
is it just wishful thinking on your part ?.

Hellothere
This really Good reason every one is tired. Instead of getting relief, GB got everyone exhausted with all their rules, books magazines, meetings assemblys. So many things that are not needed or could be much much less of. Plus it removes focus on more important things, like Agape. This day's you have too flee from watchtower to get real rest.
Matthew 11:28โCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. -

My old congregation is being shuttered
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini just found out from my jehovah's witness cousin that my old congregation is being shuttered due to lack of elders, less than 20 members attending, and that the congregation cannot meet their monthly expenses.. here is a congregation that was started in 1975 with less than 15 members.
it grew to 185 members in the 1990's.
the congregation grew so large that the elders decided to split the congregation in two.

Hellothere
Is someone doing a investigation were Money is going? Private detective or something similar. How can they just sell out halls, other people paid for, keep money and not be considered criminal activity. Only excuse they have given so far is money going to Africa. Just strange not everyone of JWs are wondering about this subject. We talking about millions and millions of dollar.

LV101 I live in Europe( not a English speaking country if you complain about spelling ๐). We're I'm at this happened about 15 years ago. In ways I understand many people struggling with emotional problems and halls are not best place too be. It's a boring, depressing soulless place. Add to that watchtower with their do more do more, you are not good enough talks. All doom and gloom. It's a very judgemental atmosphere. I doubt even if they removed zoom that people are gonna return to halls. Meeting attendance has been going down sense the 90s. Nothing gonna change that.
