I remember in a talk he said if people we're complaining about him, they should complain too Jesus about it. Like Jesus selected him as GB member so everything was legit. I bet many JWs have send letters to bethel about Morris "special" opinions about things and they wanted him removed from the GB. Anyways this is a sad news for the apostate movement. He was our biggest alliance. Before lett and Splane

Do they have any kind of mental health arrangements at bethel? I mean to help JWs with mental problems. Like a psychiatric. See so many people in congregations struggling with untreated mental problems. None of them ever visited a psychiatric. Think tradition in watchtower was read more bible if you have mental problems. But I wonder if in recent years they have installed arrangements too help JWs who are suffering with mental issues, at least at bethel. I suspect many weird GB talks, rules and articles written are result of having selected people with serious mental healthy problems directing the org

Are there any new ideas coming from the Watchtower Society?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy brother ( who is an elder ) tries very hard to get me back to the meetings.
he calls me every time he and his son ( he's also an elder) give a public talk.
they send me the zoom i.d.

Yes there was a big game changer that people don't talk about. In the USA there was minus growth for watchtower. That's a big deal if you think about that watchtower started in the USA and headquarters is located in New York. It's a symbolic thing. A very bad thing for watchtower.

This week's Watchtower Study - don't complain if ...
by eyeslice indon't complain if you get kicked out of bethel after 23 years (it's really a blessing to be assigned back to the field) and don't complain if they sell your kingdom hall even if you have just invested your time and energy renovating it.. so encouraging?.

Got same advice as young from older brother. "Go to bethel and you can stay there till new system". I'm extremely happy I never followed that advice.

Yearly report shows less and less congregations worldwide. This article came out in right time when probably your π kingdom hall is being sold π°. What a proof that the GB is guided and know just when right articles should be written π You should be very joyful organisation is taking care of you. Be happy and don't complain, or you be kicked out π©΄ it's sooo loooovingπ -

Elders are no longer teachers
by eyeslice inback in the day when i was a young witness lad, you very much got the impression that at least the training as theocratic teachers was good.. even the bible reading back then had a short introduction and conclusion.
you had to research and prepare your own ministry school talks and then perhaps you would graduate to a half of a 55 minute public talk.
then later if you were a book study conductor, you got to decide which scriptures to read and highlight.

Hellothere
I remember back in the 80s, elders going up to podium telling everyone that they hade fulfilled God's requirements, that's why they we're elders. And now it was time for rest congregation too also fulfil requirements π Think it was base on teaching GB told them that holy spirit hade appointed them. Of course that change. Now it's co that appoints people and neither GB or org are guided by Holy spirit ππ

Yeah they stopped teaching public speakers and started focus more on singing at the meeting. Telling everyone that lyrics gets into your heart when you prepare the songs before meetings. But seems now they gonna focus more on movies.

Staying in physically for all the benefits
by Indoubtbigtime ini wonder how many are like me staying pimo for the great association and gathering etc.
also find it very interesting having a front row seat watching the collapse of borg.. im not wasting any more time or money on anything i donβt want to do like preaching and mostly just go on zoom .
there is nothing i want to do that would be considered disfellowshiping sin, iβm married and want to live by bible principles but i have serious doubts that the gb were chosen by god and are his one and only spokesmen on earth.

" all benefits" you make it sound like you getting paid to dress and drive too attend extremely boring meetings and assembly. It's good to meet people. But if you are a man there's several requirements you have too fullfil. You have to reach forward so you can get appointments ( free labour). There are few few benefits being a JW.
