Let's say DF arrangement Is real and biblical. They compare to the prodigal son. Problem is the prodigal sons father was a very loving father that kept hoping son would come back. Watchtower has nothing to do with love. It's a cooperation. Who really wants to come back. Only fear Armageddon would bring someone back. Neither elders or GB are balance enough to apply DF arrangement this days. This org Is to corrupted for that.

What Percentage of active JW's are on Anti-Depressants?
by Sea Breeze ini came across an xjw post on redditt from a rn.

WARNING! If you DELIBERATELY avoid the JW memorial.....
by BoogerMan in.......you will experience a fate worse than death!
you have been warned - don't come crying to me if you don't go.
you've got one month to change your mind.

They have said missing assemblys is punishable by death also. Thought Jesus died for our sins and Old mosaic Law was removed with that. According to GB the death of Jesus seem not to be enough for removal of sin and law. So why have the memorial at all? Jesus death seem not to amount to much according to watchtower

Have felt bad for many kids in the Borg. Have seen lots of JWs with mental problems having kids. Imagine a unstable organisationen like watchtower that only has in mind knock on so many doors possible every month. With all kind of weird rules and regulations. If your parents are ready unstable with mental problems, they gonna apply every insane rule even harder. Seen that to many times in congregations.

Saw some video year ago. Was ex bethelite. He hade recently become exjw. Anyways he said most at bethel were on the pill. The once not on pills we're self medicating with alcohol. Articles watchtower write "with best live ever" and how happy JWs are most be a slapp in the face to many depressed JWs.

What Would Grandfather Say Now?
by LostintheFog1999 inmy late grandfather believed he was one of the anointed.
that aside when asked about whether the jw organisation would last, he would pull out the attached wt magazine (the second edition) and say "if the day ever comes when the organisation asks for money outright, it will be proof that jehovah is not it's backer.
" that's how convinced he was that such a thing would never happen.. i often wonder what my grandfather would make of the modern organisation today..

The doctrine of anointed that watchtower has promoted seems strange. Before the idea of some going too heaven and other not, everyone one participated in commemoration. After doctrine was introduced many stopped participating in the celebration. Was it because before most of them hade mental problems? The other thing, most anointed seem to be white, bald, living at bethel new York and all are JWs 😂. Always thought God liked variation. Just don't add up.

What is spiritual warfare.
by Hellothere inwhat is spiritual warfare to you?
i experienced a situation that i could clearly say was spiritual warfare.
but that was something i could only see years laters.

What is spiritual warfare to you? I experienced a situation that i could clearly say was spiritual warfare. But that was something I could only see years laters. Cause all the steps of what happened we're complicated. Nothing i could have done by myself. Like there was a plan behind it, but I hadn't made the plan. If you sit down and twist bible verses or start playing mind games. That's not spiritual warfare. It's just you as a human deceiving and lying too everyone. That's my take on it anyways.

What's your take on being anointed. What requirements do you have to fulfill?
by Hellothere inmy personal opinion is someone that's gonna rule in heaven, has to prove himself on earth before.
so satan don't have accusations against that person.
a christian king is a loving one.

My personal opinion is someone that's gonna rule in heaven, has to prove himself on earth before. So Satan don't have accusations against that person. A Christian king is a loving one. Common sense say he must be an example of agape, fruit of spirit, when his on earth. Granted, i think if you are anointed, this organisation has made your race much harder. It has done so by over focusing on preaching and not development of Agape in members lives.
◄ Matthew 23:13 ► “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. -
