Oh things change before covid. Almost saw no JWs door 2 door before pandemic. They we're sitting around carts playing with their phones. Preaching zeal been low for a decade i think. What was weird was bumping into Mormons doing door 2 door. Run into them several times when I was out walking.😁 Plus they were smiling and seem to enjoy their service. Reminded me of JWs back in the 80s. Oh yes their was s time when you actually saw happy JWs. Wonder what happened to watchtower. Like a dark cloud came over congregations back in the 90s.

Has Tony been abducted by Aliens?

i have from a very reliable source that he attends one of the poughkeepsie ny congregations.

Hellothere
Last 15 years i have read in magazine and heard at assemblys that GB thinks they fulfilled requirements of preaching worldwide. They they feel in ways preaching work is done. Or at least prophesy fullfil about preaching about the kingdom. Seem org has removed the zeal they hade. They don't mention preaching work as much as in the 80-90s. It was a nonstop of preach more more MORE back then.

We're you regular at the 3 meetings days watchtower hade? I remember our was Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays. In reality it's crazy they hade so many meetings. That they still have two and not only one weekend meeting is strange. Why not ease the burden on congregations. Basically everything was about watchtower with that many meetings. If there was such a hurry with preaching, why not have less meetings and let JWs be out more in service? Most of books we studied are outdated or watchtower has removed. What a waste of time.

"Elder, after I left to say to me, "I never viewed you as 100% a J.W"
It's very common in JW land to try to find ways of feeling superior or more "spiritual" then others. GB does it all the time. Part of JW culture you can say.

Saw broadcasting with Samuel Herd. He looks really depressed. Like a dark shadow over him. Total lifeless eyes. And of course his "Brothers" instead of helping him, they put him on the broadcast. Starting to think that getting kicked out of GB was probably best thing that could happen to Tony Morris. Maeby he can get some professional help for his drinking and trauma problems. Bethel is worst place to be at for person with depression. They obligated to put up a fake smile.

disfellowshipped for having a personal opinion based on WT
by Leslie inin 2008 i was baptized into the truth after leaving a trinitarian faith.
during my eight years as a jehovah’s witness, i strived to keep the standards set by the bible, wt and the faithfull and discrete slave.
but unfortunately, the congregational elders from the kingdom hall i attended were not keeping to jehovah’s standards, hence, wrote my letter of resignation.

"We are not inspired" I'm gonna go translate that to normal Day speech. " We are normal persons, without any education, trying to take good decisions ". But it get worse. They are people raise in s cult we're you don't learn to think, question or evaluate information. Living in artificial world called bethel. Headquarters (the Bunker). You think this gonna end well?

Uncle Tony gonna get the wake up call of his life soon. His little theatrical play when he was ruler, master and king over congregations is over. Lots JWs don't like the GB. Especially someone saying they have blood guilt if they don't preach for a week and other things. In my area a CO was removed 15 years ago. Congregations still talking about how he, that hade that privilege, could just throw everything away. Imagine a GB member. Members in congregations gonna make sure he never forgets that he's fallen from grace. If I was Tony, I probably abandon org. Maeby move to another country. Avoid any contact with other JWs. Specially at his age, when you don't have super many years left of life. Your last year's you want peace of mind.

No Private Beliefs Allowed!
by BereanThinker7 inlooking for references that talk about witnesses not being able to hold any private interpretation or belief that isn't in line with official doctrine.
.
i know i've seen them before but of course now i can't find any of the more in your face statements..

Hellothere
Watchtower told members some years ago not to speculate . Doesn't that cover everything with personal beliefs? It's only the GB that have authority to speculate or have a personal belief on things.
