Thank you for sharing sp74bb and eternal gratitude to Candace Conti for stepping up against the WT abuse policies that have proven NOT to work. From 2012 on she triggered my personal research that eventually led to my awakening. Great to see she is still at the forefront, awaiting more succesful cases for other victims! Hopefully many will be spared from potential "Kendricks" in the future.

Thinking about the faders in Russia
by Funchback inimagine that you are fading and then, one day, the government bans your religion.. you no longer should have to fake it.
your fade has now been done for you.. but, imagine the fader who now must attend bunker meetings just to maintain being part of the jw family.. for me, the ban would be my ticket out, but i imagine that some faders in russia are still forcing themselves to attend underground meetings.
for those faders in unbanned countries: would a ban be your ticket to religious freedom?.

Interesting thoughts. For those who play it smart and well, the ban could create situations that will help the faders (conscience matters and such), but it sounds strange to realize a ban would lead to religieus freedom for them, but it's true!

We are becoming champions of grief. We lost twin B.
by Darkknight757 inlast week we had a reassurance ultrasound with our ob.
she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!
but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

Ghost image of the Apostle Paul appears on Google maps
by jwleaks ini found this ghost image on google maps of the apostle paul walking on one of his missionary journeys through the region now known as turkey.. evidently the google map car was able to capture the spiritual afterglow of the apostle paul while he was walking along a roadway on his one of his missionary journeys.
interestingly the google mapping computer was able to create an overlapping image from the first century and from the twenty-first century.. .

In this outfit, it seems Paul is more than ready to convert the lost sheep of Ishmael.

I have a big nose...
by The Rebel insurprisingly whilst hating being born with this over large nose, women have fallen in love with my nose.
so with regards to look and charm, what i hated about my physical attributes, many women have found attractive.
anyway i just wanted to say what we find unattractive about ourselfs, doesn't necessarily mean others do.

Gorby, I watched the entire doc today! In the capital city Pyongyang the Spanish reporter was shown a Catholic church and being a Christian, he was allowed to visit the mass, but he noticed there were no Eucharist symbols used. The Korean hosts explained there was no priest that day. He was also told there were Protestant, Buddhist and Cheodigyo (traditional Korean) churches. That seemed to give the impression of freedom of religion in Korea, but the reporter didn't trust it and he supposed that it were fake churches, only built in Pyongyang to mislead the tourists.
Intriguing stuff man! That country will always be shrouded in mysteries.
Something you didn't mention (thanks for not spoiling the party ) was that Jehovah's witnesses, together with Scientology, are viewed as unwanted religions. So even a fake Kingdom hall would not be allowed in Pyongyang!
I guess paradise earth under YHWH and Christ would be too much of a rival for the Kim II-sung and Kim Jong-il cultus of a perfect North-Korea.
