this thread is prompted by losch's stupid 'decrees' in the march 2018 broadcast, where he denounced online information that may be 'negative' about the organization.. it strikes me that the gb are so dumb!

the moment someone says "dont look at something", human curiousity will make most people look.

When someone looks at these forbidden fruits (TTATT) and falls prey to cognitive dissonance, it might appear as if it's indeed a "sign" from above and that Lösch's word are indeed spirit-directed through god's only true organisation on earth. A JW might even feel privileged and blessed when he interprets the cognitive dissonance as a direction from the holy spirit and proof of god's love. I remember how I struggled and had to bite through the pain and confusion in 2015 during the ARC hearings. Instead of following the mantra "Wait on Jehovah" I had this very strong gut-feeling that the outcome of this eclectic journey had everything to do with integrity and reliability of the WT organisation and would confirm who really was lying. I took the red pill and survived...

Darn, ain't the human mind a miracle of complexity?

Nb. He guarantees blessings to those who contribute. That reminds me of the Catholic sale of indulgences in times past, where salvation ensured by a decent contribution. They are becoming that which they always used to criticise.

So true... A few years ago while I was still in the lie, I disagreed with someone on YouTube who compared JW to the RCC. I guess it's no surprise that I was shocked and felt insulted in good ol' Rutherfordian-style.

It took TTATT before I got the point he was trying to make. He was right in more ways that I ever could've imagined... how ironic.

The strange case of Gerrit Losch

one of the recent molest cases had a signed declaration of gerrit losch, stating he has no relation with watchtower and that he has no control over watchtower and he does not answer to watchtower.. this month he is hosting the watchtower broadcasting show, on a watchtower media chanel, with a watchtower president starring as co-host, with statements, media and music that have intellectual ownership and copyright by watchtower.. gerrit is asking on broadcasting for respect for “the slave”, just like jehova and jesus respect “the slave” and will even reward them.. are the writers of the statement too stupid to see the correlation between teaching and practicing?.

these man are proven liars.. how can hold this firewall stand?

How many are PIMO ??

i know we cannot answer this, how many are physically in, mentally out (pimo), but i heard an amazing piece of news the other day.. an ex-p.o and ex-elder, a long time regular pioneer, and when i knew him a stalwart believer, went for a drink with another jw who has actually left, but is not df or anything.. in the course of conversation he came out with this bombshell "well, i am actually an atheist now, i just go along to keep my wife happy".. i also heard of a number of youngsters that i know personally who are simply living their life as they want, whilst making sure they don't get df'd for family and social reasons.. if as it seems the pimo's are a huge number, could there be a huge " awakening" where they all realize they are in a huge group, and they all say " eff it, lets call it a day on all the jw s**t ".

?.

I'm POMO and I'm very happy to have open communication with two PIMO's in my older congregation. We can discuss everything and accept and respect each others position. They understand why I left but they are not in such a position because of their family. No pressure on both sides which is a good thing.

i believe the increasing PIMO's are pretty much the "hidden" scourge for the Borganisation. They can focus on apostates but it are the many PIMO's that (not openly) don't give a f#%k about meetings and field circus and keep activities as low as possible. Many also vote with their wallet. The Borg simply can't afford to lose all these "spiritually weak" (hahaha) members because WT loooooves numbers, even if they are manipulating them behind the screens to keep up appearances. Kingdom Hauls are already half empty, it's already a disaster. Yes, the future looks dark and it's all a matter of damage control for the eight midgets now.

How many? No one knows but they ARE increasing, just like the symbol partakers at the memorial, lol.

I hope the PIMO's will see a wondrous expansion in these exciting times.

we all have many reasons for leaving, most are doctrinal, some are emotional.

it's a religion which obsesses over factual proofs (counterfactual though they are) of its veracity rather than faith, so it's inevitable that most who leave will do so for intellectual reasons.

i heard a sly and the family stone song a little while ago and out of curiosity, looked up larry graham....the innovator of the slappin and plunkin bass.

he became a jw about 1975 and was the influence for prince becoming a jw.

Larry sleeps, eats and breaths da funk. He's the godfather of the slapping bass technique. Excellent gifted musician who also happened to be a spiritual person looking for answers "provided" by the early 70's WT propaganda machine. He was lucky enough to be financially independent and to get a free card to tour the world and live the life of a JW celebrity.

Most rank and file jw's wouldn't get away with a life of visiting different kh's/meetings around the globe while touring (sometimes sharing the stage with "worldly" music celebrities) and giving live performances and interviews at radio and tv.
