My confession goes back to the 90's, when grunge, alternative rock and nu-metal reigned supreme. Country music was not done in most of my social circle but God did I love those tunes, still do... lol

by Simon inadmit it, we all have things that we reel off when people ask what our favourite music is, just the same as if people ask what our favourite movies are.
we're meant to say "citizen kane" and "casablanca" and not "battleship" or "pacific rim" but we know what we're going to watch if they are ever on tv at the same time (and which ones we've never actually seen).. so how about some confession time?
what do you listen to when no one else is in the house?.

Who else than AM III would be a perfect soldier of Christ, being a Vietnam veteran who gained extra spiritual powers as an anointed GB member! Telling porn stores that carnal lust and desire will absolutely have no place in God's kingdom is not for the faint hearted.

I had it once and it felt awkward. Like blondie and hoser said, the baptism talk wasn't cancelled (unfortunately) and was supposed to be a peptalk and a reminder of everyone's own baptism. Some tried to be positive and made it proof of 'how close we were to the big A' but it still felt 'wrong'. No youth no future, right?

What do JW's think they are (predictions/fulfillments)?You can't trust JW.org on many, many matters, 1914 being one of them. They lie about their organisational history. You need to research older WT publications to discern the truth about 1914.
What JW's think is not what they are allowed to think, unless it's in line with official WT dogma. In private, they might admit some errors (and not even in all cases), but mostly they will not risk their membership by discussing the flaws and errors in public. Needless to say that WT is a high control cult that keeps members under control by use of FOG (fear, obligation, guilt).
I wonder...

I would not go.
Besides the hygiene, crime against tourists and poisened liquor...aren't voodoo, black magic and spells pretty common in the Dominican Republic? I don't think I would be able to relax with so much superstitious energy around me.
