And after doing research and prayer, I now pray to Yahweh and Yeshua and have no organization to belong too. I am so much happier. No more stress or major depression. Just FULL-STEAM AHEAD! 😀

all she seems to talk about with me is how terrible and demonic our disfellowshipped relatives are, how horrible the world and holidays are, or how she is so much better and "holier than thou".

Do not and I repeat DO NOT get baptized. If you get baptized AND THEN come out your butt will be thrown out immediately. Play it safe and you'll be fine. I was in a similar situation pretty much and I am 22 now, still not baptized.

Lunch today with.. JW step father....
by raven init has been a while since i've posted, i think its because i have finally gotten some peace and quiet as far as harassment from the jw elders.. my step father, the one who reported me to the elder police for a sinful act invited me to lunch today.. it has been almost a year since the incident, we have talked here and there, it has been just casual though.
he says he is in town for work and asked if i would like to meet up for lunch, i couldn't think of any excuses so i agreed.. i hope it goes well, hope that we don't go into the jw nonsense.
hope he doesn't bring elders with him, am i paranoid or what?

To be honest I am so glad I wasn't alone in seeing this hypocrisy! I would like nothing more than to call these hypocrites out as the white washed graces they are. But I am too subtle and just ignore and pray for them. 😇 Although I can just imagine Jesus would be on the podium beating the sht out of the lead elder haha 👏

Has anybody else noticed that almost all the Jdubs are super arrogant? I mean even from just the basic ones to especially the elders and the overseers omg. They act like they are so high and mighty that you should just worship them. And if you dare to challenge them or have any disagreement you are immediately 'labeled' and shunned whether or not you are a JW or not. This then, I found, leads to being isolated in the congregation real quick. Not only that, but if you want to converse with someone at a KH about 'moving up' they are very quick to dodge and show you your errors and why it just can't be done... either that or they just plainly ignore you for several minutes and talk about some bull with someone else hoping you go away (lol).
I just felt like ranting for a bit and was just wondering if anybody had some input to add here or any past experiebces.

Nice comeback, but know that your family will kick you to the curb if you continue to back talk them. That's what happened to me! 😇 And then you'll have to work 80 hours a week with 2-3 part-time jobs and sleep in your car until you can land a 40 hour/week job. It will happen if you don't hush up. The decision is yours.
