Idk how it got posted more than once. I was the other day trying to post it 'once' and the forum post got locked on processing request. So I refreshed the page after a minute or two and tried a few times until it posted. Sorry!

Millionaire Witnesses vs Apostle Matthew, John the Baptist, Jesus, etc.
by Alostpuppydog inso i know one should remove his own stick from his own eye before ones self judges another, but i noticed something.
it seems that the wealthy witnesses are the elders, the circuit overseers, the governing body... are they really different from any other 'worldly' religions or even organizations?
i mean look at the jewels the friggen pope wears.

But as for being banned, yea... I am. After studying for awhile I made a statement that they took as a terrostic threat so they said never come back lol.

I mean look at the jewels the friggen pope wears. And the GB, they get first class dining day in and day out and Barkley pay those that do their laundry and are awstricken just by having seen them. Kinda reminds me of a place called North Korea...
But getting back on track here. I know an elder at the congregation I used to attend, before getting banned and never having been a witness myself but having studied a lot, I find this odd about him. He has a house worth at least a million dollars, majorly expensive vehicles, his kids get the best 'worldly' education (isn't that frowned upon???!?!?) and drive around in nothing less than the best. Now if I remember correctly Matthew the tax collecter gave everything he had to the congregation and stopped living a luxurious life. John the Baptist, the most righteous imperfect man to have ever exhisted ate honey and berries and lived in the wilderness hated by the wealthy Pharisees. Then there is Jesus, God's only begotten son who never even owned his own house and slept outside and had next to nothing extravagant but the basics to live in his preaching. And we are supposed to follow these God-like mortals that have literally no extra contact with the Ancient of days? I mean sure there was King David, Joseph, and Moses who lived in wealth for a time. But they all lived under the Law before Jesus came and it was a totally different time period. I guess all I am saying is 1John 2:15, James 2:5, Matthew 6:24, 1John 3:17...must I really go on.
If anyone has anything to add or to say feel free to comment but beware! I will read your comment. 😀👌

Suicides in the JWs
by Disassociated Lady 2 induring my time in the jws there was a friend i had known since i was a small child.
he was an elder's son and around my age.
he would often instigate the game of "tag" after the meetings.

Oh man how terrible. Even myself who has some issues, really began to become suicidal every time I would study with the witnesses. I didn't realize this to a few days ago that it's them!
They kept saying it was Satan every time I would study, but really if I changed my life work in harmony with my studies and my prayers and all it did was make me suicidal, I question that BIG TIME. I see the pattern now in my own life and am steering clear of them, even though I am banned anyways from all Kingdom Halls. 👍🏻
Now it's time to move on and maybe find a different church?!

2 days in to this website having left the organization (never even reaching unbaptized publisher for being to radical of a thinker 😆) and I never had support until I saw this website.
I don't know how I came to find this site but man does it help knowing you aren't alone in any degree. Hope you guys that were actually able to make it to baptism have been able to clean your conscience. Cause the JW's love to dirty you up in their doctrines excluding the bible when necessary.
Though I am still a firm believer in the Bible I will countinue my journey elsewhere, because the JW's over the last 10 years of my life benefited me slim to none. ✌

Election Post-Mortem
by Simon ini'm sure many people, republicans included, are shocked at the results of the 2016 presidential election.
really, wtf!.
the polls were wrong and although it's tempting to blame voter suppression and fbi interference, that would just avoid looking at the real issues for the loss.

I have to say one of the few doctrines I agree with the WTBTS is that gov't is just so damn corrupt. Though I didn't need them to convince me not many others for that matter. But you know these people putting all their faith and trust in hope in Trump, I think are going to be vastly dissapointed. He only has 4 years to erode decades if not a century of countinual brainwashing of the left. And even the right has too-many-to-count problems of their own. From studying history and on from what I read on Rome, seems we are doomed to repeat ourself here because nobody will admit we are a modern-day mirror of the Roman Empire.
I hope we don't crash and burn too hard but my hopes aren't very high...

Just curious about how faithful women are these days. Anybody know?
by Alostpuppydog inso being someone who is not, however still believes around 70% of what the jw's talk about as far as the bible goes, ignoring the fact of no blood transfusions, shunning, etc.
wt doctrines, i got this question.
anybody really know how faithful 'worldly' (i use this term lightly 😉) women are these days?

Well I have definitely noticed how society has changed from studying history. Now just looking at my generation alone, I see they don't even understand the concept of marriage. They think it's dumb and having sex parties is cool. And I can imagine this must be having an affect even on those of my generation in the JW society.
As for being clean I still am! But I wouldn't trust a JW girl over a worldly girl when it comes to that. Just because of what I have seen/heared from other JWs that are in the dating pool.
For loyalty, however, the whole 'one flesh' is really seeming to one person nowadays in Kingdom Halls. I see ALOT of single minesteral servants in their 30s/40s and plenty of single women. This organization must be putting a huge strain on these people because they seem to either go overboard or completely delete their reproductive organs. It's strange.
