They should just keep it simple and not be greedy for dishonest gain. This year some convention sites the hotels said no thank you I think the JWs are going to book with us anyway. They said no to Bethel. So Bethel went to other hotels further away and made agreements with them to earn money from all the JWs going to be staying there. Then they wrote a letter to all congregations saying not to stay in those hotels that said no but stay in these other hotels further away that made an agreement with Bethel. The letters read please don’t stay in those hotels who said no to Bethel as it will make it harder in the future for Bethel to negotiate. What has actually happened now is rank and file totally ignore the letter and those hotels that said no to Behtel are fully booked with rebellious JWs. -

the toll of being PIMO
by enoughisenough infor those of you who are pimo, how do you feel it may be effecting your mental and physical health?
is it easy to pretend to be what you are not?
how do you feel about falsely supporting the pimi which builds them up and therefore an org you don't believe in?

I think most people these days who go to church or another place of worship are not true believers they are the equivalent of PIMO JW. I know this is true of most Jews and Muslims too. Probably Buddhist and definitely all other sects have PIMOs or PIMQ.
It’s not that much of a toll. All through history you had groups get together in the name of religion or something similar and many just go with the flow for the sense of community and companionship. That’s why I’m still physically in but mentally out.
I suspect there are a high percentage of those physically in that have doubts but go with the flow. Even if not all of them view themselves as PIMO they may just think well I don’t know I hope what we believe as JWs is correct but we’re probably not correct about everything

Thoughts on annual meeting “new light”
by FFGhost inso, i finally saw the annual meeting video part 2.. this is the one with the “new light” on who might survive armageddon, vs. those who do not.. in summary, for those of you fortunate enough not to have to sit through it, it’s something like this:.
old light: once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-jws.
the “door of the ark” is closed.

Does God exist, or is the Bible written by men, Seeking to control people?

Is the archangel Michael actually Jesus, and did he battle with Satan and the demons in 1914? Did Jehovah appoint Micheal as king in 1914? All because of the 77week prophecy which you can twist and turn and somehow use 607bce, then from 1914 add 3.5 years which is 1917/18 but let’s round it up and call it 1919 and say Jesus chose a small group in USA to be the once true religion?

Changed behavior of the governing body on the topic of “vaccinations” in the Covid era
by Pedro ini'm looking for an explanation why the gb has made a radical change on the issue of vaccinations.
was there pressure from outside?
were there any financial or other benefits to promoting experimental genetic therapy?.

Tell that to Lloyd Evans🤣
He was always so pro vax, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is still going to get his 9th booster shot or whatever it is if you want to stay fully vaccinated.
Lloyd loves it if someone pays for him to fly somewhere and take drugs he even admits it openly

“So I did what you shouldn't do, which is I just crashed off it. What you're supposed to do is slowly reduce your dosage over a quite a long period, and I just stopped taking it. And that was a very grueling experience, certainly the first week when I stopped taking it, there were huge and withdrawal symptoms that were very difficult to cope with.
But I did it”
He is so stupid to do this and he is starting to sound like a very unstable person. Maybe he is doing other illegal drugs I mean he doesn’t care about breaking laws with prostitution. To be fair using prostitution and drugs often go hand in hand.

We keep having the circumcising issue brought up in updates even the latest one on beards.
Some said you should have this medical procedure some said you shouldn’t, then Paul came along and said you can if you want to but don’t have to. Simple.
Why didn’t the GB follow this with covid vaccine? They should have stayed neutral but they didn’t. They are causing division by saying you have to have this medical procedure to go to any theocratic schools

My decision.
by MissDaSilva ini’ve decided to disassociate from the jw organisation.
i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.
amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.

Stan “fading makes life easier for those that would otherwise shun you.
Are you OK with that ?”
This is the most important point. If someone hasn’t been in long and maybe don’t have many family or friends who are in then by all means decide to be shunned.
I suspect not many fit into this category and most will have friends or family who are still in that they would find it hard to be shunned by. If not now then I’m the future.
Why have this huge disadvantage of being shunned by every JW on earth when you don’t have to.
it’s far better to fade
