90 sanction and it probably won’t even come to that if you say you are sorry
Yes now is the time to get DFed not years ago:)
for those of you who are pimo, how do you feel it may be effecting your mental and physical health?
is it easy to pretend to be what you are not?
how do you feel about falsely supporting the pimi which builds them up and therefore an org you don't believe in?

this was posted on jw leaks.. my truth's | dad seeking truth.

Last week, it was said to my disfelloshiped friend that she should wait almost one year becuase only after her marriage, she shown repentance. She got very angry. After 3 days, the elders call her again and told ther that new rules arrive and she would be readmitted. Now I see this document and everything makes sense
Good timing for her.

folks: regarding all the recent changes about dis-fellowshipping and time for re-instatement.
(and, even speaking to persons who are dis-fellowshpped.
) back in 1972, a new book was released at the summer district convention, that replaced the yellow-colored "lamp": book.
Does anyone know why ted jaraz life store is not in the watchtower
An obvious reason comes to mind. There is at least one man who claims he was molested by him when he was a boy. Just after the alleged crime Ted was suddenly and unexpectedly moved away from the area of alleged incident
uh oh, looks like the mega thread gave up the ghost, so while i investigate / fix it just continue the discussion here .... it's been a long 9 years lloyd evans / john cedars.
Sexting will not get you DFed unless you are unrepentant now.
The seismic change is it doesn’t matter what the elders think, all that matters is what the sinner says.
in a span of a few months time, we have had many unexpected changes announced by the jw organization.
some here have expressed the belief that a great number of witnesses will leave the religion.
in fact, there is a great probability the opposite will be true.. yeah, ancient hardliners will have a hard time assimilating these changes, but the younger generation will likely welcome these changes.
The GB has needed to lighten up for a long time.
A watcher they certainly have lightened the load. Matthew 11 Jesus said take my yoke you will find it refreshing it is kindly and my load is light.
now it has turned into an inflatable air pillow

It’s no toll now, staying JWlite is more than easy.
even staying pimi is easy
jesus yoke that used to have a light load and was kindly has turned into just air. Jesus said it would be refreshing and comfortable yes his yoke has turned into an inflatable pillow
the changes can be summed up in two words- soft touch.
humans have a tendency to go a little beyond sometimes.
if someone goes a little beyond these days it will be a soft touch approach.. soft touch with what you decide to wear.

Soft touch with what you decide to wear. Beards and hairstyles tend to go along with that, it’s not often talked about but JWs will have a soft touch with hairstyles from now on as well.
soft touch when it comes to clothing.
People can just wear whatever they were wearing that day in work or school or whatever. As long as not too casual.
Soft touch in getting DFed in the first place, it’s a lot less likely to happen and even if it does happen it’s only for 90 days then easy to get reinstated. During that 90 days people will still talk to you anyway. This is so incredibly soft touch when you really think about it.
so definitely soft touch describes the changes.
there is no more fear of being shunned like there used to be.
if you have a meeting with a few elders and they decide you will be DFed then you can ask for an appeal committee. If you tell them you are repentant and won’t do it again they can overturn the original decision.
So it seems to me it’s very unlikely anyone will be DFed ever again. And in the worst case it does happen it’s only for 90days. There is no need to ask to be reinstated the elders will chase you and try to talk you into agreeing to be reinstated.
It also seems to be soft touch when it comes to ministry or lack there of. Some simply state they don’t do ministry anymore they just do zoom social gatherings with the minis groups. The very few who do go out only do a tiny amount then meet up back at someone’s home and chat to all those on zoom.
It’s also soft touch in expressing doubts. The amount of jokes doing the rounds on social media about the Gov body. Do these ones not realise they are doubting these men are who they say they are?
All these things can be described as soft touch. It’s as if Jesus yoke that he said was kindly and had a light load is now just air. It’s like an inflatable yolk or more like an inflatable travel neck cushion.
there's been a lot of discussion about the changes in the org.
you might think all this would shake things up, especially for the older or super dedicated jws.
but remember when gb decided all the khs and the bank accounts needed to be transferred/managed from the top?

one theory why tony was booted out was because he was a stickler for not changing the shunning doctrine.
he actually said the words we will never ever change it.. they are slowly deleting all of tony’s videos and now losing court cases and losing government hand outs in places like norway.. it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in norway.. .
what are the odds they coincidentally get new light from jehovah and lighten up their shunning policy ?.
So is there still a difference between disassociation and DF’ing? With all these changes not anywhere in the new guidelines does it mention disassociation?

has anyone else caught this tidbit in the new s-395 instructions?:.
"if the individual is not an apostate or actively promoting wrongdoing, they will also inform him that they would like to meet with him again in three months to determine if he has had a change of heart.
in some cases, but not all, the committee may determine that there is basis for reinstating the individual at that time".
So you could commit immorality and they disfellowship you
9o days later you can be reinstated
