If you are man or woman enough to have extra maritial affair then you should be willing to accept the consequences. One night stands don't only have the possibility of death and disease they also can create children. Confession is really hard but not confessing can be much harder.

Is it ethical to confess extramarital sex to your spouse
by Most Noble indurex's global sex survey has found that 44% of adults worldwide have had one-night extramarital sex and 22% have had an affair.according to a 2004 united states survey, 16% of married partners have had extramarital sex, nearly twice as many men as women, while an additional 30% have fantasized about extramarital sex.
there were also studies that have shown rates of extramarital sex as low as 2.5%.as many authors conclude, these kinds of estimates are probably understated because extramarital sex is commonly disapproved.. .
what do you think is it ethical to confess an extramarital affair?.

Contributions For Local KH VS. World Wide Work
by turtleturtle inseriously, if i am going to stay a jw for now, is there anything wrong with donating all for local kindom hall purposes, and simply not donate to the world wide work (wt)?
i mean, won't the local money just go to the kingdom hall expenses (among some other expenses)?
i'm telling you right now, the wt ain't getting my $ until things change!.

I don't think in all my over 25 baptized years as a JW I ever donated a total of $500. The lesson I learned from Ananias and Sapphira is that it is ok to keep your own money and not give it as a donation.

I would have loved to have someone mention at the 1919 convention the Golden Age magazine was introduced and then to highlight some of the information that magazine included. That would be very educational indeed.

My introduction at the Kingdom Hall
by wisdomfrombelow inon sunday i was attending the kingdom hall and some visiting jw or a new jw in the area introduced himself to me.
he obviously didn't know i was disfellwoshipped so i introduced myself to him, shook his hand and smiled.
i wasn't particularly interested in a conversation but i wasn't about to start of saying "i'm disfellowshipped" because it was none of his business.

I have been DF'd over two years now. I have my reasons for attending but being reinstated isn't one of them. I am not hostile and have family still in so I sit quietly and attend most meetings. In those 2 years none of the elders has come up and talked to me to inquire anything about my status or reasons for being there. I just sit and smile.

I wonder if they'll make a local needs talk about my brazen behavior.

Your reaction if they drop the shunning policy?
by jam inhow would you react toward those family members that.

I remember back in the 90s when they changed the policy on shunning those who weren't baptized. It used to be that unbaptized "approved associates" were to be shunned once they became unapproved. This meant a lot of teenagers who engaged in "teenage behavior" whose parents were baptized were shunned. When the change in policy happened, people were were shunned for years were suddenly spoken to. Very strange indeed. I can imagine that happening again but I wouldn't expect it to unless legal pressures made them change their behavior. I choose my friends carefully but I would not be rude if someone who didn't speak to me decided to start talking to me again. I might just speak back and say something eye-opening.

the first time i felt like i was in north korea trying to slip pass the secret police.

I really have no desire to get involved in Christmas as a born in and I never celebrated it and never missed it. I guess for me Halloween is for kids and if they come I give out candy but don't get much more involved in that. I do enjoy my birthday since that is my own holiday.
