  ok brothers and sisters, we need to use our imagination, and you might just question mine at the end of this haha.. but how would you feel, seeing a governing body member at the same holiday resort you and your family have just checked into?

  you think this might be great to ask him questions and so approach him as he's lying on his back, sprawled on his beach towel.

  as you get closer you look at his swollen, bloated feet and think what rich, creamy, buttery foods is he eating at bethel.

  But how would you feel, seeing a Governing Body member at the same holiday resort you and your family have just checked into? You think this might be great to ask him questions and so approach him as he's lying on his back, sprawled on his beach towel. As you get closer you look at his swollen, bloated feet and think what rich, creamy, buttery foods is he eating at Bethel. But then you see it. On his little toe, shining in the glorious sunshine, the most beautiful pinky ring you have ever seen.

  When you see it, you retreat thinking to yourself, how sick must he be to do that to himself. He gets up and walks into the ocean for a swim. After 5 minutes he comes out and to everyone's surprise he's had a wardrobe malfunction. Hes' super tight green mankini hasn't done it's job, and his wrinkly, shriveled, weapon of ass destruction is on show. You notice to your shock, yet another diamond encrusted pinky ring on his gash mallet.

  Door to Door

  i hear my wife say to me " we are the only religion that does the will of god , and that is to preach door to door, and speak about gods kingdom" and in one sense she is correct, i know there are others that preach door to door, but then someone told me door to door, does not literally mean door to door in modern times.

  i was confused, has anyone ever heard of this before?

  My mum also makes this claim about the preaching. But seeing how non active people on the carts are, and how brothers and sisters walk the streets like snails. Going as slowly as they can from house to house is very upsetting. But they are preaching. As the others have said, it counts for nothing if what they have been preaching is false. Millions now living will never die. 1975. The generation that will not pass away.

  Many will say to me in that day, 'My Lord, my Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name have cast out demons, and have done many mighty works in your name?' I know the JWs certainly will be.

  the org waited and waited to see if their interpretation of it came true.

  those alive in 1914 would still be alive obviously it didn't and jws have to believe in an overlapping generation.

  The org waited and waited to see if their interpretation of it came true. Those alive in 1914 would still be alive Obviously it didn't and JWs have to believe in an overlapping generation. But in the minds of a JW, how long will they give it before they know even an overlapping generation isn't going to work. Are we looking at JWs accepting an overlapping, overlapping, overlapping generation teaching? In which case it can go on for as long as they want.

  Any thought behind your " Avatar"

  i think that's the correct phrase?

  anyway when i first came here, that little picture that "the rebel" hides behind, was a self portrait of a very sad man, who simply had too much knowledge.

  now i feel after 7 months here, i should repaint that " avetor" give some happiness to the eyes, and a contented smile to the lips.. in short my " avetor" was a self portrait of a man with too much knowledge.

  Proclaimers Book claims anyone can leave the org

  was going through proclaimers book and found this little nugget on page 232. there is so much wrong with this paragraph that my head almost exploded when i read it.. however, i was thinking, perhaps those like me that are trying to fade away without "trouble", can use this in the case that an elder should start questioning with intent of escalating matters.

  i mean over the 100 years plus we have been going, how much of what we taught was absolute crap.

  how many things taught about never came true.

  I'm sorry to hear that, especially what you said at the end of your comment :(

  The JWs' have and always brag about the preaching work, and hand on heart they are doing it. But none of it counts if what is being preached is false. They are recruiting new members yes. But preaching the truth, no, as we can all testify and prove because of what turned out to be false.
