Apostle Paul could suffer a heart attack if he goes this days to any KH and see women's clothes....time makes things change. The WT could get a treasure of very good MS in women but I doubt they do it.

What really should be the role of Women in the congregations?
by Old Navy inthe presumably "biblical" practice of limiting the way women participate in congregational matters of the wtborg cult inc. (as well as certain other sects of christendom) may be a gross mis-interpretation of what paul meant.
i'm inclined to agree completely with this account of what paul really meant.. thoughts anyone?
aren't women more deserving of greater participation and respect?.

Do we attack the Topic or the Person?
by stuckinarut2 ini was just thinking that most witnesses can not approach a controversial topic without turning it into an attack of the person who raises that topic.. as we all awaken to ttatt (the truth about the truth), they simply can't discuss the actual facts or issues we discover without turning it into an attack of us as "apostates" with all the negative connotations that word entails.... how truly narrow minded and sad!
.
they would rather attack the person than the topic..

'you have to go to the convention.
bro sanderson says we must watch the news, things are happening.

You could say, for example: the trip to the Middle East by Mr. Trump is gonna bring the "peace & security" and then.....but remember, Earth has been here a long time, dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years ago. Remember, you could put a spin in anything, no worries.

Part of Growing Up - Saying Goodbye to Invisible Friends?
by doubtfull1799 ini don’t remember having any invisible friends when i was a really little boy, i don’t know if such a thing actually exists, i’ve only ever seen it in movies?
of course it might have looked to others like i was talking to someone on occasions, but i’m sure it would have just been me talking to myself.
the thing is though, i got introduced to an invisible friend in my pre-teens, and i kept the relationship going well into adulthood.

The thing is that the humanity, since the beginning of history has a deeply ingrained tendency to believe in a Supreme Being under many different forms, not just imaginary friends. Also we should remember the cycles of secularism and religiosity. It's not just Christianity and the Bible. Buddhists, for example, practice meditation, which is similar to praying. On the other way, if you watch a documental about the size of the Universe, you wonder....I rhink praying is a personal election....and not getting crazy about it. Maybe there is nothing.

by OrphanCrow ini just watched the live feed from the russian court room and followed the updates on the russian exjw forum.. just waiting for confirmation from other sources...but, it looks like the final (and expected) result is:.

which means that the wts property in russia now belongs to the russian state..

I think it's really terrible that the Russian government banned the JW.... Yes, they have done many mistakes (and held them accountable for that) but they are peaceful people. Religious freedom should be respected. Today is the JW, tomorrow could be us.
