I remember reading an artical not long ago, I'll try to find it, where they stated that Native Americans , Some Native Americans, religious beliefs were closer to the true meaning of Christianity then modern day Christians.
So, if columbus would have stayed away then North America would be full of real Christians living in peace and harmony for the most part. All except for those pagan Pawnee.

they have an article at the url below which i thought was hillarious.
it talks about how the native americans are facing more and more assimilation and the destruction of thier indigenous culture by "the world".

When I first got up the courage to log on, I had an entirely different perception of what I thought I was going to be viewing in here. I never thought I would be seeing posters who were still active JWs arguing with apostates! Quite frankly I was SHOCKED!
I haven’t read all the posts so please bare with me on this.
I’m sure this has been discussed before, I missed it.

i used to study with her but lost contact for awhile after i moved.
so anyway, she is standing in my doorway making idle conversation and manages to ask her way into my living room.

I don't know anything about the women who came to your door but I do know that people who are anointed who have been for many years inside the JW religion, do not go around announcing it and certainly don't threaten people with it. She must be a want-a-be. There must be a lot of that going around. She had no right to say those things to you, it was wrong.

some of the deep discussions on jw doctrine are excellent, but everything else seems to be nonsense in my opinion.
why can't this site be more like the old www.witnesses.net which seemed to have more spiritual meat rather than backbiting, gossip, and rumour and even obscenity.. sorry for my frank opinion

This good news of the Kingdom will be preached through out all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations AND THEN the end will come.So before the end will come, everyone must here the word of God.

I was taught that they were cast down to earth at the end of the cold war and the proof was listed in the chain of events printed in the knowledge book which I found to be pretty interesting but.. It still didn't seem to make perfect since to me because even though the events and dates listed regarding world wars etc. etc.are true, a lot of the other desasters stated are comparable with many others through out history. So i don't really understand how the GB draw thier conclusions.
