  The Anointed Remnant:- Are They Really Anointed?

  this has been something that has been in the back of my mind for quite a while.

  are those claiming to be of the anointed amongst jehovah's witnesses really going to heaven?

  many jw' view them as being on a higher spiritual plain than the average jw and that they view the bible as a personal letter to them.

  youll have to excuse me im still trying to play catch-up with whats going on here but.. this is addressed to all jws in good standing, or anyone else who may want to comment.. i will appreciate any insight from anyone regarding this.. why are you here????

  I'm sorry but I really take offense to that, not that I imagin for a minute that you give a shit, but weather you believe someone to be anointed or not it isn't fair to attack everyone based on your bad expeirences. My mom is anointed has been for more than 50 years, I don't care weather you believe it as real or not but she is not nor has she ever been anything but nice and careing and I could only wish to have as many friends as she has accumulated over the years JWs AND NON JWS alike. You may hate the JW doctrines but remember the people who believe in them have family who love them dearly and to say they all crawl into holes 364 days a year is pretty cheap.

  Quietly singing Praises' to Jah

  i was reading "remembering" and it made me remember how deflated the air always seems when it comes time to stand and join together in song.. once in a while, depending on the cong.

  i was visiting , someones voice would stand out in the crowd and sound like they were actually singing from their heart.

  i remember the last assembly i attended several months ago, the man sitting next to me stood up to sing and i swear you could hear him over everyone else and there were over 11,000 people in attendance that day.

  Thanks 4 your reply, but don't you think that a better way to try to prevent any harm from places like this would be better achieved elsewhere? 100% of those who post here do it because they already have expeirence with the society. Well I'm assuming 100%. active happy JWs logging on here can only hope to get into arguments that will more than likely take them nowhere. Why bother?

All of Long Beach must have thought only one person in the convention center was singing.

  I the eyes of your boyfriend by comming here you have willingly exposed yourself to Satan and his demons. As far as he is concerned you are being used in an attempt to destroy his faith in the same way that the serpent did with eve and adam in the garden of eden. Asking him to listen to anything you have heard here is no different then eve asking adam to take a bite.

  we have all heard all the crap about 666, now does anyone have any conjecture or idea about 616?

  i have only heard of one possible conclusion to this so far.

  616 is generaly found in the oldest manuscripts.

  no blood cards this year!

  last night at meeting they told us to just use our blood cards from last year.

  in the past they've always told us how important it was to get it signed every year so that people could see our current views as jw's.....doesn't this new arangement negate everything they've ever said in regards to this?
