now that you don't practice the religion, is it safe to say that you reject everything that you were taught??

Most JWs I've ever known believed in god and Christ before they became JWs.
I think it might be easier to stop believing in god after leaving the religion simply because of the never-ending ending that?s always just around the corner.
There is waaaaay too much anticipation in the religion.

Troublemaker? NEVER! I was a great kid even though many of the...more ignorant ones among the flock labeled me a troubled child and a bad association. There were several of us when I was a teen, and then there were "them"...the others.... the ones who were always first to raise their hands during the WT study "oh oh oh pick me pick me I know the answer!" the blissful ones in thier low heel shoes and ugly dresses.
I think the only reason I was labeled such was because I was always very strong headed and probably will be till I die. I never just took someones word for everything and I was supposed to in order to be spiritually strong. barf
The "REAL" troublemakers were the goodietwoshoes with raised hands and big opinions about other people they had no business having opinions of in the first place.

I just don't know anybody who has ever bought into this program and so never heard anything either way good or bad.
I did pay the 39.95 for the first payment so I could get into the warehouse, then quickly CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP! It was amazing to find everything that I wanted from the catalog was OUT OF STOCK/NOT AVAILABLE/DISCONTINUED and the only things to pick from was....well, CRAP! You're correct about the dollar store stuff is equivalent to what they had to offer. VERY disappointing. Thought I was gonna be rich. hahaha...not .
So in the end I was only stuck with a loss of 15.00 for shipping charges and didn't even get to see what was not yet shipped. (membership kit)
it is with a sad heart that i am rolling on the floor and laughing my ass off.

Any body here try it? I'm thinking about it. I'm looking for some opinions or prior expierence that any one would like to share. It costs about 500.00 to enroll even though they advertise it as 39.95 enrollment. It is 39.95 but they left out that its 39.95 a month for 9 months plus shipping. They tell you that when you call them and get the full pitch on the phone.

Not everyone wants to communicate, obviously, otherwise there would be peace right now and people like saddam would not exist, but they do. That?s just they way it is and all the wanting in the world will not change that. You can't just ask the entire population to simply play nice, it isn't very realistic.

Saddam is well known for his sadistic appetite for torturing and executing his own people. I at least feel better knowing he will not be torturing anyone else again, hopefully.
There will always be someone wanting to be the next saddam or binlater and we will have to deal with them as well, one way or another, like it or not.
