Need confirmation: WT bought an entire mountain in China to mine the granite needed for new WT HQ
by WingCommander insomeone asked for a second source on this, so i'm putting this out there to those who may have visited the new wt hq lately and know it to be true.
i had read from others on the ex-jw subreddit that had taken a tour recently at wt hq, that they had been shown photos of a mountain in china, and told that this is where all of the granite is being mined from and shipped over to new york to use at the site of the new wt hq.
apparently, it was cheaper for them to do this and have the local brothers in china mine it, then having to by tons upon tons of granite here in the usa, even wholesale.

Little Free Library

almost finished with a "little free library" to set up in front of the house and was wondering if anyone else has put one of these up?
got to thinking that it may get filled up with my tots fav periodicals, watchtower and awake.. anyone else had any experience with this?

i know there are a dozen others here who were in bethel back in the early 2000's who know what i'm talking about.
he actually kept me thinking this was jehovah's org because of his sincerity as if the holy spirit was operating in him.

Sydlik and Swingle were cut from the same metal, in my opinion. I think they were both secret apostates hoping to effect change from within.
I didn't know Sydlik as well as I knew Swingle, though. But Dan seemed to be of similar personality.

Do NOT admit to being alone with her. They can use that as circumstantial evidence and still take Judicial action. (They have taken judicial action against individuals of the opposite sex that did nothing immoral and just spent the night together in the same house in different rooms.)
So, deny anything out of line happened and deny being alone with her in a situation that could have been compromising.

by tor1500 inthe truth, the org is the truth...ummm...let's think about that...i was thinking that the bible is the truth & what it does is that it reveals the truth about you...the more you read the bible the more you may see yourself & your actions.
you may be a person who judges people, the bible will show you what's wrong with that...viola, another truth revealed about you.
you may be a prideful person, you read a story in the bible about that...again, it's another truth revealed about you.

Many didn't specify which God they were talking about. Most that attempted to meet the criteria talked in abstracts about some mysterious force that "had" to have set things in motion. Those that did specify were obviously referring to the God of Christianity.

Here is a summary of the variations of unverifiable evidence (some is outright speculation without any evidence, but I digress) that has been presented so far:
1.) I know Jehovah exists because his Holy Spirit is evidence of him.
2.) It's a feeling.
3.) This [animal, plant, planet, universe] looks complex. Complex things have to be designed. Therefore, there was a designer. That designer is God.
