  They are going to pay taxes for business ventures.

  So no taxes on donations, religious buildings...

  Nothing to compare with the dictatorial regime of France even though the new pm of Italy is a puppet of the trilateral-much like the Greek one.

  i agree that it will never collapse but the crumbling has begun.

  Why can Witness Doctors give Transfusions and sisters sell cigarettes??

  it's a "mortal sin" for a witness to not "abstain from blood" or smoke, yet witness elders who work in the medical field are free to administer blood transfusions.

  and sisters that work in a supermarkets in the section that sells smokes are free to do so.....it's like not being immoral yourself but being a "pimp daddy" for others..

  Nurses do not sign/order for a blood transfusion. Doctors do, so it is their responisibility and for this reason JWs doctors do not give b. transfusions. Anyway in a big hospital this is not an issue for a JW doctor as another doctor can do so. Jws doctors usually sign an official document that they will not give b. transfusions and the others are aware and 'replace' them on that.

  Now a question about the family I mentined in the previous post:

  They had so much trouble for having among their merchandise improper material but the dub who sold the business to them apparently didn't. Shouldn't he be punished for making his brothers sin?

  Doctors? No!

  I personally know of a lot of trouble that 'responsible brothers' created to a then active JW family cause they had a franchise shop and selling something forbidden. Beeing a franchise shop means that you cannot have much choice to what you sell. And btw the shop was sold to them by another JW!!!@!!!

  A true Christian cannot be neutral. That is hypocritical.

  UN cannot be compared with YMCA. Completely different organizations.

  Do not be confused by the b******t of the GB. What we should be against is UN ignoring God's arrangement for ruling mankind through Jesus Christ. Other efforts, like to eradicate illness, hunger, illiteracy are welcome and we should support them.

  Can anyone prove that birthday celebrations are forbidden by God?

  i know that there is no mention of any birthday celebrations in the bible besides the two which were celebrated by non-believers.

  and it just so happened that on each of these events, someone died (one non-believer and one believer).

  but does it mean that just because the bible mentions these two events, that all birthday celebrations are forbidden?

  recently the wt has taken a stricter stand regarding going to college and getting a higher education.

  does anyone know what scriptures the wt uses to support this?

  And what's wrong with being an NGO as long as you do not support UN politically?

  Now back to the theme:

  1. Christian can have his doubts and cannot be disfellowshipped for that.

  2. We are not to judge others. So when tricked to answer if you believe that JW's are the only true religion or the morons of the GB the sole channel of Jehovah then do not answer directly, do not express your opinion. Say that it is not of you to judge your brothers but Jehovah will in his due time. they will press you on this. Be careful. They may ask: Yes but do you think that Jehovah is not supporting the F&DS anymore like he rejected ancient Israel. Again repeat: "It does not matter what I or you think, but what Jehovah thinks. It is not our business. Leave him to provide the answer. Do not ask me."

  Aquaponics for survival

  in a new world of ever more dependant people the real way to go is self sufficiency, i'm now looking into the aquaponics fish and vegetables as the way of protecting the family from societal destruction, i know that in the us preppers are quite common but in the uk it is seen as a bit of a joke, i'd still rather do something than being without food and water if the worse happens, not armaggedon because that is a total fantasy dreamed up by the jw's.. .

  i'm interested if other people are preparing for dangers that may possibly happen.. .

  Living in a city there is not much space for such practices. And in case of social collapse and chaos they won't be very helpful either-they will be looted! But it is good to be prepared somehow. I usually store some extra dry food in my cupboard (rice, pasta, lentils, etc).
