If there are any new younger members of the GB then it will be a huge blow
most feel this current crop will be the last and if any younger ones come then it will be very faith damaging

no, but of all the sports stars collapsing (and there are more than ever) the vast majority if not all have been vaccinated.

If this continues and more people keep taking the shots and keep getting harmed by them and if the GB don’t issue new light and day they were wrong when they said Jehovah managed to get 98% of bethelites fully vaxed, then this is the smoking gun that we have all been waiting for the GB are not Gods one and only channel to mankind because they were so wrong to push these harmful experimental injections

it’s a common phenomenon when people leave JWs that they are lonely as most of their friends for years were in the Borg. It’s also a very social life when you are in, and once out it’s a very lonely existence

Jehovah`s Witness Elders who were Business men in The Congregations I Attended.
by smiddy3 ina number of topics have covered work experiences by members who have encountered crticism for having a full time job .in the last few congregations i had attended this was never an issue as elders had businesses they owned and employed brothers and sisters .. while i personally never worked for a jw, both my young sons did at one time or another and my wife did also .i have always worked full time in secular employment and have never been criticised for doing so .and to my knowledge nobody else ever had that experience.. in the first cong.i attended an po as they were called at the time was an insurance agent and his bro.
was an assistant po also worked with the same ins,agency.. other congs,i attended one elder was an owner of a cabinet making firm while about 3 other different elders were self employed builders who ran their own business and employed others to work for them .. at the same time a couple of ms servants had their own plastering business going on supporting these elders business.. so i`m just wondering whether this is just depending on where you are from in the world and what time period we are talking about.. the time i`m talking about was in the sixties and seventies and the area was in s.e.

Yea different parts of the world have different views but there are always exciting the rules
some congs frown on working full time, owning a house taking out a mortgage, getting further education and getting high paying careers
Yet all these things are being done by elders and prominent ones all the time

by enoughisenough inhere is the thing: i tried several times to watch the convention...i just couldn't seem to forge ahead with it.
the reason i wanted to was to be able to engage in conversation about it with some of my old friends that communicate by phone that don't know i have disassociated.
i want to be able to slip in seeds of doubt, but at the same time i have to seem a bit current...) so i welcome to know any take outs, commentary, good or bad, or the video plots, etc.

Investment departments in Bethel
by Mikejw ini was a bethelite in london for many years then got reassigned to the field and then went on brd from the start of chelmsford right upto covid.. during my years at the branch i was sometimes asked to be on a team who went to homes donated to the branch when some older one died.. this happenes an awful lot, everything is left to the branch in the will.
the unbelieving family is furious they didn’t get left anything and sometimes they tried to get their elderly relatives possessions and there was a legal battle .
but in the end a team of us would go and empty the property and another team would clean it up and put it on the market to sell it for the worldwide work.. all the possessions were sorted into trash or possibly valuable .

Talk about making out like a bandit, the old bethel in Mill Hill was sold to a rich Jewish group for millions and after they paid everything they asked the branch for a quote to do security and maintenance a little longer.
They then asked for a quote to do all the work changing the buildings to what the Jews wanted
again it was millions of pounds quoted per year to do all the work
then pandemic happened and the Jews plans changed they asked the branch for more work to be done differently to what was previously planned
the Jews are paying the branch millions and millions and think about this….ALL THE WORK IS BEING DONE BY VOLUNTEERS UNPAID
THE BRANCH KEEPS ALL THOSE MILLIONS AND THEY HAVE A HUGE GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS IN NORTH LONDON GOING IN EVERY DAY WORKING ON A JEWISH BUILDING
The fact is these brothers and sisters think they are on a quick build or working on Chelmsford again, but they are actually working for free on a Jewish building and the Jews are paying the branch.
If anyone here is familiar with Coniston court one of the Bethel accommodation blocks opposite Waitrose that was included in the sale. Now it’s like a quick build with all volunteers working on the plans for the Jewish millionaires.
Anyone here remember the two newish accommodation blocks further down? Again volunteers working for free on the Jews plans for the Jewish building and the branch keeping every penny
