  uh oh, looks like the mega thread gave up the ghost, so while i investigate / fix it just continue the discussion here .... it's been a long 9 years lloyd evans / john cedars.

  It’s a good point, if a foreign person comes here to my country and doesn’t bother to learn the language after 15yrs how could they start a court case and expect it to be in their language?

  i’m sure this has been covered in the past but there are a lot of videos appearing lately bringing this up again.. this chap phoned bethel in london about it and as soon as he said song book the service desk said i’m hanging up now.

  so was there some pimos in the art department or was it more sinister and this organisation wanted to but pedo messages on the song book a bit like the demonic hand in the rev book?.

  i assume someone from wt attends the reading of the will.

  an elder, a co, some especially selected person from the branch under whose purview this sort of thing is maintained?.

  what is the procedure?.

  It would be wonderful if an international law firm specialised in proving deceased JWs we’re brainwashed into putting WT in their will.

  There is plenty enough evidence that this is a false religion that could be used in court and even if the family loses think of all this apostate truths that would come out in the court

  In most countries if you don’t speak the language then you can only get very low pay. It’s a huge sign of being lazy and lacking intelligence to live in a country for years and years but not learning the language

  Are they trying to say there are no conspiracies? A conspiracy is one or more people doing something that is wrong and lying about it. All governments do this all the time.

  They have tried to make it sound like conspiracy theories are only flat Earth, aliens or lizard people nonsense.

  But there are plenty of conspiracy theories that are now conspiracy facts, like WMDs in Iraq for example. Do Wtower believe the governments were telling the truth and they just couldn’t find them?

  WTower need to take their own advice they give out. I remember one of the covid updates as Splain keep saying in a condescending way “brothers please be careful what you believe” then he went in to endorse the jabs.

  I wish I could have gone to Bethel and in front of the entire Bethel family said to the GB “ brother please please be careful what you believe “

  Zoom replaced with KHCONF+ app for meetings?

  just heard about khconf+ app replacing zoom for hybrid meetings at kngdom halls.

  did a quick search here and didnt find any posts about it.

  have i missed something?.

  It’s still zoom here in South East London. All congregations here use zoom but some elder’s really don’t like it.

  There is a pin to get in but it’s usually got 1914 in there somewhere😭

  there is a controversy over who to let in, some people say they are not feeling well but elders think they are fine. I have heard it that if they say I’m tired I will attend on zoom one elder said we are all tired we all want to stay on zoom 🤣🤣

  "judge" rutherford defined or classified all religion as "a snare and a racket" in his books "religion" and "enemies".. after rutherford's death in 1942, his protege, watchtower vice president, and aclu darling, hayden c. covington, in the early 1950's, for reasons of legal expedience and supremacist aspirations, suddenly converted the watchtower into a religion.. this was done alongside one of the most audacious, spurious and longstanding swindles of the us legal system.

  this involved twisting philippians 1:7 and misrepresenting the watchtower's true nature, objectives and activities.. .

  this meant that it became necessary for the watchtower to suddenly reclassify and redefine religion (w51 1/15 p. 43 new legal booklet well named; w51 8/15 p. 511 questions from readers; yb75 p. 161 part 2 "for gladys bolton...").. two new watchtower classifications were suddenly created: "true religion" and "false religion".. now "true religion" meant "true beliefs" whilst "belief" in ever changing watchtower doctrine was equated with the one "faith" of scripture.. all this while the watchtower increasingly and maliciously truncated, obfuscated and hid the liberating full "good news" (or unabridged gospel) of scripture, which it lyingly claimed (in court) that it was actually "defending and legally establishing".. how would you have defined religion before learning ttatt?.

  Yes anything can be like a religion to some. Hobbies and activities can be like a religion. Trekkies have often been used as an example also very similar some people love Star Wars so much it has become like a religion. They both know it’s fictional but love the people with a common interest.

  even atheists can become religious about their beliefs and the new age ideas that the universe created itself and they often say universe had this in mind for me. This is like a religion to these people

  But what happens if the person left everything to the Borg in their will? If family members do not inform the Borg and no executor of a will is contacted by the family because they know what’s the point?

  who would own the house then in that situation?

  is there some sort of automatic process when someone dies? What if No family members ever inform anyone?
