  I’m an elder and I notice more and more layers of security on confidential material

  when I sign into my jw account I know there are imprint security in my personal account so if I screenshot or send to someone then it could be linked back to me

  they have software wiz kids working at fish hill which is the IT capital of bethel world headquarters, now they are fiercely going after any moles

  I sometimes will send inside info to deserving sources as soon as it’s released but we both know about cleaning the material first so there is no way it can be traced from source

  but I know some of the amazing young minds at fishgill in NY May be working on ways to find the source

  Reading through this old thread it makes even more sense a decade later.

  now we have Brother Kennith Cook, is he now the youngest member of the GB?

  there are problems with more younger members suddenly coming out as having a heavenly hope. Does that mean other ones chosen before 1935 lost their hope of going to heaven?

  I know of a young Elder who is fairly new in the truth and has tattoos who says he and his wife are anointed but their son has just been disfellowshiped for being gay. Would Jehovah really chose them as 144000, this is the question many in the cong are asking.

  the big question I have is will this current GB slowly die off over the next decade or so even 20 years maybe for the youngest members but they all look unhealthy and over fed.

  how can they possibly justify newer younger members even with the overlapping new light?

  we are now getting close to the overlappers getting to old soon?????

  a lot of my ex fellow servants must be now in their seventies, what can you do?.

  no children no money no home.

  it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.

  I don’t think the elders really care about helping the poor jws anyway. It cramps their style and they can’t count the time.

  I know of an old couple living so frugal they only have their state pension. Yet they still give £100 month to the world wide work.

  they are struggling with bills, with the cost of living crisis getting worse I suggested they cut back to only £50 month donations (it was difficult to even say that as they are due hards him the faith)

  their answer was no, think of all those brothers struggling for food and housing we are from a rich country and want to help them.

  I couldn’t bring myself to say it because I don’t want anyone to know I’m PIMO. But do donations to the worldwide work go towards any JWs who are in poverty?

  the answer is no. But the donations do go towards GB members and top dogs holidays flying first class and staying in posh hotels. I can say this with confidence. When I was in Bethel I know of a few branch visits of top dogs and I overheard that after his talks and his visit he and his wife went to a top hotel eating and drinking expensive food all paid for by the branch

  hi all.. a news article regarding ali millar popped up on abc here in australia.. some of you folks in the uk may have heard of her.. she has released a book entitled 'the last days'.

  not really a change my cong used to pay my travel when I was in bethel

  also got my travel expenses for my convention paid, it’s just a case of one elder suggest and everyone votes

  How far do we get away from 1914

  how far do we get away from 1914 before they have a new light and admit it was all wrong?.

  they cling to the old theory of the 77 week prophecy from the wrong date that jerusalem was destroyed .

  with the overlapping generations nonsense still we are getting too far away from 1914. what will they say if we get to the 2030s and they still cling to 1914?.

  SP were never paid for car or travel expenses Mike. I wonder sometimes…..

  Now they do going back to the hall and ministry, the congregation pays them travelling expenses

  jehovah's chariot, famous for being late to the game, copying other religion's chariots, or outright turning in the wrong direction does it again with vaccines.

  immediately after the gb announced that masks are still required and that all hlc elders are required to be fully vaccinated, the cdc comes out with new covid guidelines:.

  The stop start on Chelmsford - I remember that. Some had given up their businesses and got sent home regardless. Is that the period you are speaking of? Fairly near the beginning of the build? People were very confused about what was going on

  Yes exactly Anna. It was finishing off the bunker. Once it looked like a big slab just the foundations of building 33 then they started up again but none of knew there was a bunker under the huge slab
