  let me ask you only one question.

  first i need to clarify a few things.

  in the new world translation, john 1:1 reads: “in [the] beginning the word was, and the word was with god, and the word was a god.” then in isaiah 9:6 (nwt) we read: “for there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder.

  This is something i am going through at the moment, John1:1, i am on the fence, thing is i got to think out side of the big Os reasoning on it. The trinity i studied and came up wit all sorts of arguments at the door, Jesus was the first born of all creation, why did he say that the father was greater than i, only Jehovah know the tie of the end, not Christ. IN the Greys interlinear JOnh1:1 says in the beginning was the word, and the word was with Gog, and the word was with THE GOD, interestingly in Aramaic there is no letter A so we know that was an addition later on, this is one of the things i am battling with, the trinity, and the other one, about the issue, What if they hadn't eaten the fruit, they would have bot died, but most events in Revelation with th great crowd are taking place in Heaven, grrrrrrrrr, headaches lol

  Why ex-JW's so knowledgeable when it comes to the Bible?

  over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?

  my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.

  i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.

  Yeah i knew the teachings as well due to extensive book studies, after i found JWFacts and a few other sites, i started to read more, now i find myself looking up other issues about what i was taught out od interest really. I just have to lean not to use what i know to argue with them.

  surely the gb aren't naive enough to believe their own lies.what does it take for the majority of j dubs to wake up to themselves and finally realize that they are being robbed on all levels emotionally.financially,spiritually,intellectually and many other aspects of their day to day lives..

  i've heard some weird stories coming from jws about the paranormal.

  i know about the warnings about items that come from unbelievers -- those don't interest me as much.

  what i am interested in are actual experiences in stories of the paranormal you've heard or experienced yourself.

  Nope. no drugs, didn't do drugs, but what was happening was real, there were others involved as well and they saw it all too

  I used o delve into black magic and all that before i was in the so called truth, saw a lot of things, heard a lot of things, the demons sure let you know they are around you when you play their games.

  being a recognized religion here in australia i heard they get government funding.....if this is true, i don;t see why as they seem to do okay funding themselves .

  This was a question asked yesterday here at home about this, so i have been looking around everywhere but can't find anything about it. They do get tax exemptions but i cannot see funding unless they are hiding it really well

  Police should always be notified. In the young people ask book i believe it talks about reporting these things to the elders or the family, but no where does it say to contact \authorities. Abuse it abuse, does it not say, to report these things to the police.
